President Russell M. Nelson, an apostle at the time that he gave these touching remarks, recounted in this talk how the gospel had “provided the undergirding foundation” for his remarkable educational journey. His journey had taught him, among other things, that “all truth is part of the everlasting gospel” and that “when the laws of God are obeyed, wanted blessings will always result, not just maybe or sometimes.” President Nelson’s sterling example reminds us that we are blessed as we become disciples in the disciplines. Indeed, the Lord expects all of His people to be consecrated covenant keepers who are following the covenant path, no matter their worldly occupation.

He's indeed a blessed man of God ❤❤❤🙏🏿 . I am grateful for our Lord's mercy as He continues to reach out to us through His chosen and blessed prophets. President Russell M. Nelson is such an one. I am so grateful for him and love him dearly. What a blessing we have to be part of the Lord's restored church upon the earth today, placed in the care of good and honest men, like our dear beloved prophet and those who are called to lead with him. Indeed, the Lord is faithful and mindful of us 🙏🏿. May we act while the Lord's arm is still stretched out. I proclaim my love and sincere gratitude to all who uphold the Lord's work in truth and righteousness ❤ 🙏🏿.
As both a lover of the Gospel and of Life Science this speech spoke to me in such a profound way. And what a beautiful scripture from Job! Those verses are definitely going to my favorite scriptures list. Thank you posting this.

É muito bom ouvir do presidente Nelson falar da verdade como uma ambição para os santos fiéis do Senhor buscarem na obediência as leis de Deus a esse nó entre a ciência e a religião. Na verdade suas palavras presidente Nelson me remetem á sala celestial do Templo, nada tão impossível de visualizar. E eu adorei as escrituras que os animais falarão, pois eles estão sabendo sabem de muitas coisas estão na Terra a tanto tempo quanto nós humanos estamos com nossas gerações. Sobre os reinos acredito que o Senhor trará o que queremos e em Seu tempo chegamos e estamos prontos para Ele nos revelar. Deus nos abençoe.

Their can be a conflict between science and the truth depending on who is peddling the narrative.
there is only conflict when one or both are wrong or just misunderstood. I think when people realize that Gen 1 is an identity document, not a science document, there will be less confusion. There has to be a-lot more detail in the creation if you think about all the species relying on each other to survive. The creation story was given in a simple way to help Gods children where they came from. Not enough detail to truly understand how things got formed.
@@adamd7754 When knowledgeable, fair and interested people compare our Bible with the geological record and revealed truths about the creation of this Earth and Time, they may well recognize the similarities; and given the weaknesses inherent in maintaining such ancient record as the Bible, the difficulties of interpretation of limited scientific evidence by unbelieving men of science, which do not have the benefit of faith in modern revelation, misunderstanding is easy to expect!

We are told that quantum physics coupled with AI may well think faster and better than mankind. Supposedly, it will think and speak as "nature" does, across the universe, and there must be the question, "Will such a condition bring the Almighty to reveal Himself"?? Perhaps, but, meantime, there will be many who challenge our beliefs because of incomplete and/or errant applications of the principles upon which God created this Earth and Time!!
