I liked him as a sincere and lovable cute actor. The Best song picturized on him is "Nain Hamare Sanz sakare" from the film Annadata. I Wish him good health and happiness in his life.
I saw his movies in 70s when I was a kid. Then once when I flew Air India to canada in late 90s he was sitting 2 seats away. I was shocked to see he looked exactly the same youth, even after 25 years. I recall he kept asking the air hostess for whisky.

To be just handsome means nothing for success you need to be a good actor. Om Puri, Nasir, Nana Patekar are not so handsome but good actors. But Anil Dhawan got only support roles not big movies as a solo actor and during his era almost every actor was tall and handsome like Rajesh Khanna, Big B, Vinod Khanna, Vinod Mehra, Rishi Kapoor, Raj Babbar, Jitendra etc., even Navin Nischol was very handsome and a fine actor. He and Rakesh Roshan could never make it big.
