This is one that will probably be torn to shreds critically by snobby europeans, and wannabe intellectual movie-goers who just cant get enough of their bullet time, and 200 million dollar epics.This is actually the prequel to the first Missing In Action movie.It tells the story of a forgotten group of P.O.W.'s who are being brutalised by an overbearing colonel who enjoys watching the vet's suffer.As the prisoners numbers dwindle, one James Braddock decides to take charge of the dire situation before its all too late.From the opening to the fiery, action packed finale this film boasts raw combat and even dares to throw in some emotion.I actually truly cared for the characters as I wanted to see them survive and extract revenge upon their communist enslavers.Truly strange times we live in when one cannot be proud to be an American.I will always be proud and you can go back to your dull German expressionist films.Chuck Norris is the man.I love 80's action!

Chucks movies were not the biggest budget but he was and will always be my favorite action movie star. He truly believes in the message behind the plot. Good vs evil and standing up for those who need your help, brotherhood and not ever backing down when there is a job to be done. He taught me so much as a child and now i take the lessons into adulthood. I draw motivation still from chuck like he man draws power from lightning into that sword. I'm unsure of your age (nothing personal). I was just wondering if you were old enough that when you were growing up, if you watched Chuck's weekly action show, Walker, Texas Ranger. That show was badass. I actually would arrive at the television ten minutes early just to make sure nobody wanted to watch some stupid show when it was coming on. Nobody in the house came between me and Chuck Norris.

I actually think his best martial arts scenes are in The Octagon (which was Chuck's version of Bruce Lee's Game of Death story.) Code of Silence is probably his best movie and certainly got him the best reviews of his career. Under Siege and Executive Decision are the equivalents for Steven Seagal.
Awesome Movie! If I had one gripe, it's that they never use the sights on their rifles....nobody.. they all shoot from the hip, or look over their sights. Gotta love the Movies!!

Personally, I thought the movie dragged a little bit at times, and you almost want to fast forward through some scenes, but it made up for it with the end fight scene!!

I just love the dialogue that takes place before the fight: "You really didn't think I'd leave? Without knowing for sure you were dead."
The best part is that he doesn't even look when he actually does kill him. But, in fairness, he is fairly sure that Yin was going to die.

Most favourite? Easy: multiple MMA Megastars helping Walker & Trivette bust guys out of prison in a gritty, realistic fight scene. Superb realism in all the action sequences on Walker: Texas Ranger. Thanks All.

I was actually reminded of a similar fight scene in an earlier movie - Delta Force. Not much of martial arts until the climatic fight when he comes back for the main terrorist (before blowing him up with a missile from his motorcycle.)

He was considered to be one of the nicest guys in Hollywood. He rarely played a villain. He was very convincing in this movie though.
@@michaelc.6532 he did a good job playing the villain in Missing in Action 2 but he was good as ally of James Bond in The Man With The Golden Gun in 1974 and his Lt Hip character probably one of the better supporting allies of Bond in the Bond series.
