Thank you for the video, I didn’t know about this train before. It’s almost like UK trains except the seat rotation and recliner. 60 yrs we lived in same loop with nothing drastic happened...this govt needs to be given atleast 5 more yrs...some effort is required from public as well, we have to bear it for better...
Yeah, the electrification that happened in those years was not drastic. Without that this train wouldn't be going anywhere. Running trains at 130km/hr in 1969 wasn't drastic. Even CAG has pointed out the focus seems to be on cosmetic changes and similar gimmicks which is easier to fool people rather than substantial changes and developments. The current govt is very shortsighted it seems and can't see beyond 5 years horizon. A country is not built on such short vision and cosmetic changes.

Yesterday T-18 was in prayagraj and I live there only. So I also went to see this train and luckily got a chance to get an inside view of this train. Really this train has a very good interior and the toilets are very clean.

It will be extended from Mumbai to Bangalore & Ahmedabad to Delhi in phase 2. So one can travel from Bangalore to Delhi in bullet train with halts at Mumbai & Ahmedabad. Remember, Mumbai-Delhi is busiest air traffic route in India. With bullet train, it will give tough competition to airlines.

Nice to see such great appreciation towards Train 18 (Vande Bharat express) which is developed ingeniously in India. This is the kind of perception we need to build so that Indian manufacturing sector is respected for the ingenuity and the talent that it has to produce a world class product which is also cost effective. I wish we have more and more of these in the days to come.
Metro coaches which are in average more than 3-4 years old are maintained so well it feels new! I don't think many people have maintained their cars so well. I hope the same will be the case with these trains. And I hope our people will also treat the train as theirs and keep it clean. Really nice video. Very informative.
I felt really sad when I heard some people were throwing stones at them! I wish they get some sense and understand at the end of the day its their own train and its their money which is spent on this. I also felt bad going through some of the comments and I wish and hope people in India come out of their prejudice and come together and appreciate this humongous achievement.
