A very well known architecture, famous for his brick facades. How ever his buildings look out of place when seen today. I think we need more R &D for construction and architecture business.

Energy management should be prime concern of any architect, if he has missed that it is mind boggling.

My answer to the question asked in the title of this video is...a very firm, unequivocal YES. I would cite Functionalism, Bahaus, Modernism and Deconstructivism, one after the other, as examples that can be quoted in support of this YES.
I know most practitioners of the architecture trade would VEHEMENTLY disagree with my view, mainly because of their (real or feigned) obsession with that mythical, imperative of all importance called 'The Context'.
My Answer? Please refer to the first postulate of my Architectural Manifesto which says that ..." 1. The Context' is just a sales tool, or even a trick, of the architects for selling their concept to the client. Its just the kind of nonsense with out ignoring which (altogether?) the architecture cannot move forward, nor a more interesting cityscape be created anywhere".

Music is louder than his speech. How stupid. I had to read his speech in subtitles.
