Brook Kerr and Tabyana Ali Interview - General Hospital

- General Hospital's on-screen mother/daughter duo of Brook Kerr (Portia Robinson) and Tabyana Ali (Trina Robinson) chat with Michael Fairman on the all the drama surrounding Trina's court case as viewers await the final verdict for the Michael Fairman Channel. As viewers know, Trina was set-up by Esme Prince, making it appear that she sent out viral video of Cameron and Josslyn making love.
During the conversation, Tabyana and Brook weigh-in on: what's gone down at the trial including how Spencer Cassadine came forward with an alibi for Trina, plus how Portia is trying to save her daughter from a jail sentence which may put her medical ethics as a doctor at risk.
In addition, Tabyana and Brook weigh-in on the men in Trina's life: Spencer Cassadine and Rory Carbera, and how the #Sprina has a life of its own on social media.
Brook also shares her thoughts on Portia's relationship with Curtis (Donnell Turner) and the recent moving scenes between Portia and Stella (Vernee Watson), where GH talked about a mother's concern that racial injustice could factor in to the jury's decision in Trina's case.
Tabyana also shares her thoughts on her co-stars including Brook, who previously was best known for her role as Whitney on the soap opera, "Passions", plus Maura West, Carolyn Hennesy and more.

she really grew on me as trina. her version is more of an adult trina. I couldn't see Sydney version of Trina in a relationship with Rory

I enjoyed the interview, I think you were on point about the Rory character, I picked up from the beginning that was something about him that was a little off, in the scene when Jordan asked him to take an envelope containing info about Trina's case to the file room, why did he read the paperwork? Something is off with him!!

I think it was a special time to listen to Tatiayna and Brooke both of them are so great of an actress. I love watching both of them. General hospital is my go-to. They both make the scene seem real and I really can get into the scenes with them.Just listening crazy General hospital's scripts I love it I love it love it. Tatyana keep on going do what you have to do to stay you're safe keep on going cuz we want you with Spencer I want to see how far things can go with Spencer.The love between you and your family is so cool.. you got good you know looks with mebroken good luck and I'm glad I'm watching you both happy Anna I hope you stay on cuz you really really good .I love watching and you're supposed to be with Spencer Nicholas needs to stay with you and you need to stay with him we want Spencer and Trina together..

Vernee was the best partner for Brooke in that scene. Don't think it would have worked with Taggert, Curtis and Marshall. Maybe Epiphany could have worked but Vernee was the best choice.

I do wish they hadn't changed the eligibility rules for Younger Performer - Tabyana will not be eligible next year in that category ): It would have been great if she and Sidney Mikayla (who will be eligible next year) were both nominated for the same role in the same category!

I couldn't love these two more. I love them. And the relationship between portia and Trina. Tabby has found her way.

Tabyana has such a light. Hopefully we will see more of her brightness as we continue to see her play Trina. Since Trina’s storyline is so heavy it’s like we are not able to see her just be happy. But I guess that’s the soaps for you.

I just love your in depth interviews with these actresses. I love that they put Trina in a great passionate and sometimes complicated relationship which is now Sprina. I hope to see more romantic relationship lines between her and Spencer.

Tabyana is wonderful as Trina but that doesn't mean that I don't miss Sidney. I do prefer her Trina with Rory and not with Spencer.

I don't want them to make Rory shady but I know how TPTB think: they favor Spencer and that's the way to make Rory a poor choice. They do this all the time. I LOVE RORY and he is the right one for Trina. I can understand why people are on Spencer's side but I do think they are wrong about it.

There's nothing wrong with her voice. Her voice is beautiful and versatile. Maybe you're just not use to hearing a voice like hers.
Fairman's kinda messy with that stuff about Sydney saying in PUBLIC nice things about Tabyana. Alluding she may have said things in PRIVATE mean? Not cool.
That's not what he meant by that. He meant that people can say things publicly but never privately interact.
These 2 actors are fantastic in their roles. Today (8/15022) I was crying for Portia Robinson. I wish they could write Trina a little more mad about what is happening to her.
