I have such exciting news!! I am publishing an instructional book on paint pouring!
"The Art of Paint Pouring" by Amanda VanEver will be published on May 21, 2019. It is currently available through pre-order through Amazon and the publishers website:
    Amazon: amzn.to/2SfIJpT
    Quarto Creates: bit.ly/2RuCHNG
It is available in the US, UK, Canada and Australia!
My suggested art supplies (Amazon Affiliate link): www.amazon.com/shop/amandasde...
I can't believe I've made it to 200 videos! Thank you to everyone who watches and subscribes to my channel! I am getting really close to 75k subs and can't wait to see if I will be able to make the milestone of 100K this coming New Year!
You have my husband to thank for this video. He has been suggesting for a while that I try marbling some scarves to see how it turns out. Wow!! These turned out so awesome! It takes a while to prep everything for the marbling, but it is totally worth it!
I thickened the water and used Jacquard dyes on the water. I bought some 100% silk scarves and they turned out beautifully. I will need to expand my color palette and try out some more to see what beautiful creations I can make with this technique!
All music is selected from CZcams's creator studio.

That’s so cool! I’ve never seen anything like it but then I’m no artist, unless you count nail art! It reminds me of the drag marble technique we nail artists use when doing nails. We lay down a base color on a nonstick surface roughly 2x the size of each nail then drop dots of other colors on each base square use a watermarbling, or pointed instrument of some kind (orange wood stick, dotting tool, needle) we drag the colors around each square until we make the desired design, top coat each decal, allow to almost dry, apply a sticky base coat to each nail, apply the decal over the base coat, remove the excess decal, use a brush dipped in acetone to melt the rest of the decal to the nail as well as clean up the excess, apply top coat over that, allow to dry & voila!- drag marble nails that look just like your scarves! Which are so gorgeous btw, I love them! We also use water marbling to do nail art but it’s a Little different you should look it up here on CZcams you might enjoy trying it out on your nails! I’m not very good at water marbling yet you have to be fast and have a light touch but I love to drag marble! It’s really fun and calming! Thanks for sharing this technique with us it’s just gorgeous & looks like a lot of fun!

I used to do paper marbling, and one tool we used was a rake. It's just a piece of wood as wide as the container that has finish nails in it. Depending on how much space you leave between the nails, you get different looks when you pull it through the dye. Also, google paper marbling to see how to make some interesting patterns. Amazing work, as usual!

Good evening from Germany. I watched the video "My First Ebru Marbling Silk Scarves!" Saw it on youtube and was fascinated right away.
It's just a pity that we don't find out which carrier medium is stirred into the water or whether it's just pure water where the colors are dripped on.
I'm also interested in what colors you use for marbling? Are the colors mixed with water? Or is there something else for the colors?
I look forward to hearing from you. Greetings from Germany

Right before I watched THIS, I watched another woman's video, and she claimed to be (also) doing This Technique... However, after seeing YOURS, IT'S HARD TO BELIEVE THAT YOU TWO WERE EVEN BOTH DOING MARBLING ON SILK! Your Paint/Ink (I don't know which YOU'RE using) was SO much "lighter"~ It Allowed The Other Colors To "Hang Out RIGHT AROUND THEM" And SHARE The Space (whereas her paint JUST COVERED UP WHATEVER IT WENT ON TOP OF!)~ I Really Feel Like I Learned Something Here!
I HOPE YOU LISTED THE PRODUCTS YOU USED~ IT MAKES IT SOOO MUCH EASIER TO BUY EXACTLY WHAT YOU NEED... Until I KNOW What I NEED.

    Amazing tutorial 👍👍
Can you pls also mention proportions of carrageenan and water.. Also once you lay the fabric onto the tub and color gets onto the fabric.. Do we wash immediately ? And how do we wash it?

Thank you. I followed instructions that came with the carrageenan for proportions. I rinsed out the fabric by hand but did not throw in the washer right away.

I don't know if different dyes would work better with specific materials. I know the dyes I bought were specifically for silk.
