Your channel is by far my #1 fav for exploring abandoned houses. I appreciate many things, especially no added music, no long intro, no foul language. You find the most unique hidden "gems", unlike others that show the same places (Poconos, theme parks). Interesting to see the improvement since your very first videos and better camera footage. I look forward to the next.
Dirt dobbers don't sting only bite if you see a mud thingy it's dirt dobbers their bluish black and harmless. Wasp like to be near water so do snakes falling ceilings and decaying floors are what you should be leery of always enjoy ya'll checking something out.I'm a 55 yr.old widow grown up in the South born and raised so I guess when I'm watching you I kinda take on a mother's point of view and feel a certain empathy and love for ya'll if I see you posting anything I'm all eyes and ears.Happy to see you both are still hanging in there and doing what makes you happy in a healthy way. Thanks Rick it was really nice to see you.
I was looking for places in Alabama when I come onto your CZcams love the places u go in we use to play in my grandma’s old house when we was kids brings up fun memories
Totally love these places. Not so much dilapidated as they are both interesting and historic. Many a summer and winter have passed since they were last inhabited. One can only imagine the goodies that could be found with a metal detector and a day or two.....
You two crack me up! The things you do for us viewers with going through the sticker bushes and getting clawed by them..... We thank you!! Please be careful out there!! Short but sweet, thanks for sharing with us!! Peace, Kim ~
A multi cluster diamond ring for $125 and a prom dress for $6.99. Yes I'd say that paper is probably early 50s or late 40s even. That ring would be $1250 now and the prom dress would be at a minimum $125. Good ole inflation!!!
the early electrical wiring is known as Knob and Tube, where there are two separate wires, one for neutral and the other for hot, they run on ceramic insulators known as knobs and where they have to go through a stud they go through a ceramic tube. the very very early ones did not have any sockets to plug things in, just light sockets and later they made adapters so you could use a plug in a light socket. besides being old, there is really no danger in the old wiring, although everyone seems afraid if it. the only real issue is poorly done repairs over the years.
“No, I wasn’t talking to you, Siri.” Haha! The 1st house looks like it could’ve been a 2 apartment complex. Clearly it’s been empty for some time. I wonder why there wasn’t any electrical outlets? The 2nd house looks like it could’ve been getting renovated at some point.
ya u need a machete wacker dude those are mud dauhber nests very common any time u see a bunch of jagger bushes wack em and that old mirror dresser vanity omg that neeeds to get sold to an antique store stat great video guys love ya u are awesome
Ashley Gilliland True, but I don't think she was filming because Rick said she was in the car. 😬 I've been watching them for a long time and have noticed her absence more now. Anyway......who cares, other than I hope she's fine.🙂
You know you only exploring abandoned building you thought if these are haunted have you ever caught anything on your travels like shadow figures anything because these buildings may be haunted and I'm glad your just exploring
Reminds me of some old homes you might find in W. Va. ! The old siding that was used in those days was a lot to be desired. A little deceiving ! Nice exploration .🤗 When did you film this , as there is no foilage on the trees ???

Wow--walls used to actually be...solid! I like the bit of blue floral wall paper in that first room.
Awesome explore Rick and bekah
The last room seemed almost haunted, the one with the newspaper , almost a sad feeling especially with the bride on it.

✔️ Hi 👋 guys! Cool find! Those are Mud daubers
Enjoyed the video. Your camera work is excellent. Thanks for using talk to text. (Captioning)
Those white handprints on the second house reminded me of the handprints that were in that abandoned house at the end of The Blair Witch Project.
✔️ Oh yeah... I remember that. 🙂
*THUNK!!!* (camera hits floor) 😀
Awesome video 👍

At least wasps have a home! Those Thorn bushes would be good fence by bad neighbors!
Hi Rick!! Miss seeing Bekah🙁 Hope she's ok ☺️
She was with him when this was filmed. 😌.
Ashley Gilliland : I saw that she was. However it was just a glimpse of her. She hasn't been very active at all like she used to be in earlier videos.
She usually does do the filming. You can tell the difference between when she does it & Rick does it.
A Doug's Life On The Road Exactly!!

Prices on the newspaper are 1980's prices.
The first house looks like a tenant house.
😄😍😇
