- I’m alive, been a while since I did this kinda video. With the new Fire Emblem game out, I wanted to do so once more, since these are the main videos people know me for nowadays.
For this series I skipped one of the Shez forms to avoid showing the same, or similar convo twice. But worry not I will do a full male Shez video later to make up for it.
It’s worth noting that few characters have 3 supports together. And that some of them only show on certain routes. Quantity over quality, I guess? Warriors Three Hopes definitely had long supports for the smaller number, so I leave that up to you to interpret.

Man it’s nice to see how she really understands Claude. Them having a serious conversation is really interesting. Still feels unreal that they acknowledge her as his retainer (since she cannot be recruited in any other route)
They needed to make up for the mistake of her being recruitable in Three Houses, and so some people will stop saying "Hilda isn't his retainer."
But yeah! I 100%! I love Claude and Hilda's relationship.

So, I just unlocked the A rank support between Hilda and Holst and oh my god. I found it hilarious considering the timing of the skit. (3 Hopes spoiler warning below.)
The reason I found it funny was because the commander in the battle prior to unlocking the A support was Felix. So, she practically insulted him from what she said. XD

Still saddened there's no Dimitri x Hilda support (I'm a big fan of that one), but it makes sense, considering Hilda can't be recruited into Azure Gleam (sort of wished she could be though). Also nice to see that Hilda and Dorothea got actual supports. I remember looking at the special bonds in Three Houses, and saw one between them, but they never even had a support convo, so this is a nice touch.

Im just mad that they made the Hilda and Claude supports missable. I missed the B support and got locked out of the rest of it. 😒
I had to replay the golden wildfire route because Claude missed his B support eith Hilda & C support with Holst.
On the flipside, it give me a reason to try the other route where you become the enemy of Byleth.
So I went over hilda's original three houses support cause three hopes hilda is hella S tier waifu Imo, and there's a huge difference between 2 year skip hilda and 5 year skip hilda's support. In this she's actually way more helpful and really just all around nice to her support partners, she's like the gal pal that everyone needs essentially but in three houses time skip her supports are way more focused on her taking advantage of people and all the myriad of ways she implores to get people to help her. Needless to say I like this hilda more but it's actually very fascinating that she is like the opposite of her original counterpart, i think it's an interesting way to take the characters in that the hastened war made them grow up hella quick, i assume since hilda is Claude's retainer/alliance general she had responsibility put on her, and as thus learned to do more for people than for herself. You could also see this with sylvain's character where he isn't that much of a flirt anymore, pretty damn interesting

It also doesn't make any damn sense. Why would this Hilda be more mature and less racist than her time skip counterpart in Three Houses? The butterfly affect as a result of Shez replacing Byleth does not at all explain this discrepancy. Sure, its explained from an out-of-universe standpoint in that Hopes builds on Houses characterization. In-game it doesn't make a lick of sense.
@@Ergeniz i never played three houses but does she have a general role there? I thought maybe the faster war might've push her development quicker and maybe even more than the original game?
@@justapassingbycommenterrem5642 I'm not sure what you mean. What I'm referring to, is there's nothing in the events of Three Hopes that would accelerate her emotional growth. You said you looked up her supports in Houses. Well, regardless of which route you take I can't think of anything plot wise that would result in the Hopes Hilda. In Houses, she doesn't even get over her prejudice of Cyril's people until later in their support - no outside factors. Its even more egregious with Ingrid - she shows no hint of the deep bigotry in her support with Dedue. Might as well be a different universe, let alone timeline.

As much as I miss it, I think they wanted to focus on brand new cross-supports, as well as bring back unused ones that were scrapped from Houses due to time.
