Had the same problem. Warm light was on, but when I pushed the switch down to cook, the switch would stay down, but the light wouldn’t switch to cook. In my case, the little button on this component wasn't broken like it was in this video, but rather stuck inside due to prolonged storage of the rice cooker. Wiggled the button until it popped out. Put it all back together and now it cooks.
