Man this created the VIBE straight away, fit so well with what was happening too. My 12 year old self who played crisis core never thought I'd be playing Zack again
The way that Hamauzu writes his percussion alongside the strings rouses the soul.
Getting a Hamauzu track and playable Zack right off the bat was an experience.
As a fan of Crisis Core and FF13, I was instantly hooked.
Same man, so glad they kept this out of the demo as well, nice little surprise when playing for the first time
Completely agree, this was one of the moments in the game when I was most hyped. Hamauzu is just on another level
Had to pause the game and listen to this for a while as soon as I heard it the first time! Hamauzu is my favorite composer

@@mel-el5862 zack was set up by the people he worked for and risked his life so that Cloud could live. He was an honest man with a heart of gold who always did the right thing and helped people. That's what being a hero is all about.

While a grunt cloud beat the most powerful soldier there ever was with pure will and with the goal to save Zack and tifa.

@@mel-el5862 no one is saying Zack is stronger than Cloud. Being strong and winning doesn't make you a hero bro. It's what you do and how you carry yourself that makes you a hero.
Cloud was mako poisoned and Zack risked his life to save him, he beat all the grunts by himself If he didn't Cloud would be dead too.

Eventhough it changes the story of the original game, Zack's parts of the story have an amazing feeling, i can't even know how to describe it
Yeah I feel the same, wasn’t sure how I felt with him being involved originally but I always wanted him alive as a kid so it’s good we at least get the illusion! Still holding out hope he’ll somehow live 😂

Being a big fan of Dirge of Cerberus this has really resonated with me since the very first moment it started, I haven´t finished the game but I hope there's some DoC rearrengementts like Intergrade did. Hamauzu is the goat of FF soundtracks!
Me too man, I kind of have a love hate relationship with DoC but one thing I always loved was the music! Weiss’ new theme from remake is one of my favorite tracks

Yes, it's him, the percussion, the rhythm and the type of instruments used are his style.
It has a perfect mix between FFXIII and Dirge of Cerberus.
