Second case: When the mother doesn't appear, you just know there's something shady going on. She thought her daughter would never catch up with that man, so she fed her a lie because it was convenient. Hope the poor girl has found her biological father and it worked out for her. Mom has a lot of explaining to do,
My thoughts exactly! The mom probably drug that man’s name through the mud in the process knowing there were other possibilities. I can’t stand women that do this. What are you hiding? Only person that it’s hurting is the child. Of course the child will believe everything her mother says, but to just lie after lie to your own child is sad.

There’s many children out there who has never met their biological dads because their dads disappeared before the child was born. Many quit their jobs because of child support. I know because I’m a civil officer trying to locate them daily.

The young lady in the second case, Brittany, is a beautiful young lady. I understood her anger but this is a situation her mother created. I feel so badly for her but she should have known something was shady when her mom did not court. I felt badly for that man when he offered to hug her and she snapped. He's not the problem baby girl, your mother is.
Her mother may had brainwhashed her into that situation and behavior. She needs to snap from her lies and confront the mother.
I also felt some type of way. That man is not her father and he was so humble thru out the session. She needs to direct all that anger to her mother she's the wrong person here😢
I felt bad for him too - that was hard for him to confront then he just tried to comfort her and the way she responded - was like he was offering her a dirty napkin!
I don't think she was pushing him away out of spite or nastiness when she rejected that hug. Her whole world had just come crashing down - in front of an audience. Can you imagine, standing there alone (no mother or spouse supporting you), in front of people and cameras, & finding out that your mother has lied to you all your life - about something so fundamental? She'd even defended her mother's honour throughout the hearing - dismissing the defendant when he voiced his attempts to get a DNA throughout the childhood, all because she believed her mother when she said he never bothered. That feeling of betrayal must have felt overwhelming when she got the results.
In that moment, she will have felt publicly embarrassed, wanting the world to swallow her up. Her rejection of his hug could have been that she didn't want to take any more from a man she realised she'd wrongfully spoken ill of and hated for so long. Or it could be that she realised that she was only just holding it together and a hug from anyone would have had her losing it and sobbing on TV.
Her reaction could have been for lots of different reasons - but let's show a bit of empathy here and not assume she was being hateful. That girl's been through too much already, thanks to her misplaced (yet tragic) loyalty to a selfish excuse for a mother...

In the 2nd case when he asked "can I give her a hug?" Plaintiff said "no thank you" why is she mad at him?!! Be mad at your mother for putting you through this drama & pain. Don't be mad at him, he was lied to by the Plaintiff's mother too
She just got angry in general. I don't blame her she just needs time to process it all.
He’s a stranger. Someone she has only really seen today. Why would she want or be obligated to give him a hug? She is entitled to feel and reject.

The reason person who knows who is the father is the mother because she knows who she slept with and the daughter should be mad at her mother not the defendant.
@@cpvillacis she’s mad because he could have taken care of this when she was young to prevent so much confusion. She’s mad because he was a pop up parent and never around. Either be there or don’t. Now she knows the truth of why he wasn’t, doesn’t mean she can’t still feel anger at her past. Yes her mother is to blame as well but she isn’t there.

Nah the issue is that she thinks she gets to choose who the dad is with and around. That child was created by BOTH of them. 50% from each of them, they have the SAME rights, authority and responsibilities for that child.
And he stated that he was arrested so he sent his sister. She is very childish based on the fact that she wants to control the whole situation because she has custody of her daughter and physically has the child. And wants to stop him from seeing the child if he has his fiancé. That’s very immature for her to even think like that. And he’s stated numerous times that he’s made effort to see the child and to get in contact with her, but she refused based on the fact that he’s in a relationship with somebody else.
@@melissateasley5706 they showed evidence that he was arrested 2 days after the kid was born. Then he states that it was actually the day after the kid was born, which doesn't help his cause. He should have been able to make it to the hospital in both cases because the arrest happened after the birth

The 2nd story: Her Momma was a liar! Plain & simple. Making a man feel bad for all those years....well the judge needs to apologize to that gentleman coming down on him. Call out the mother for lying make sure it's on record!! SMH.
I don't like when the judge tells the "supposedly child" to tell the "possible father" what it felt like growing up without a father. This opens up the man to all kinds of blame from the child. This is especially unfair when the dna reveals that he's not the father.
I literally said the same thing, it’s not fair! It should be touched on after the results determine they are the father.
It gives the child the opportunity to say what’s been on their minds all those years, it’s a release & opens a path to healing. Plus it’s a message to other fathers to seek the truth about any of their questionable children

Judge Lake is so funny to me. She will ask all types of vaguely related questions to get people engaged in conversation that furthers the sensationalism of the show but when they do she says “it’s about the baby, or finally someone is talking about the baby”. Lol.

I’m the first case if you really want that baby to be yours and you want to build a relationship with that child then GO SEE THE CHILD. If she says “I don’t want the gf around her” then go see her without the gf. The baby comes first. If there is animosity between me and the woman my baby father is with my child isn’t going either because you can’t trust people now of days.
In the second case she did all that then when he tried to offer her a little comfort she wants to be bitter towards him, your mother lied to you not him. On top of she said he didn’t try hard enough when he stated multiple times he offered to pay for the tests and the mom didn’t go through with them & he is the reason y’all are there cause he had his daughter go find her. She needs to hold her mom accountable for the hurt that was inflicted on her she has been lying to her the entire time, she knew he wasn’t or the test he asked for years ago would’ve been done.

That second case that lil girl was foul at the end. He knew she was in pain and she denied him trying to comfort her. She's been mad at him and her mom lied to her and tried pin a kid on him and wouldn't allow the DNA test. I want him to walk me down the aisle but u can't hug him and have closure. That's foul! You are spot on...these women who take no accountability for the fact that they sleep around and don't know who the father is, it makes me sick to the stomach. I never understand people who agree to appear on this show. Basically you get a hotel room, probably a small stipend for the trip and the cost of the DNA test covered ($300-$500) at the cost of your dignity and being humiliated on the internet and local syndicated TV. Not worth it. The whole premise is completely derivative, it's just the Maury Povich show in a courtroom.

There is so much more than the father’s genetic material going on! You get 50% of each parent and 25% of each grandparent. It’s called recombination. Learn it.

You’re welcome. My parents can both claim strong genes. I can see my face all the way through my maternal line. My sister and my brother up through the paternal line up to our great grandmother (who had very strong features). Kids will favor one or the other. A lot of these guys need to learn that.

My cousin's little baby was unalived by his father and his father's girlfriend. They beat him because he spilled milk in his girlfriend's house. My cousin had been begging the court to stop the visitations because of abuse she had documented before this.

1st case is a grown man messing around with a high schooler. The lady is 18 now but she got pregnant over a year ago so she was 17. Why is he trying so hard to make the baby momma look bad when he literally had wex with a child.
So I have to disagree with you about case number one because there been so many cases that came on here when the woman has been older than a man and so many women said that that was normal but when a man messes with a girl that's 17 it's a problem😢... Ladies always want equality but only when it benefits them 🤯

First episode... he's an idiot! That child looks just like him, especially with his hair cut. Second episode... mom was 4 da skreetz!! I could see no resemblance between her and that man! That obviously is why the mom kept avoiding the paternity test. I know that she is hurt, but that was rude to reject the sympathetic hug from the potential father. :(
