Raphie here with an embarrassing story to tell! I recently tried to seed some bare spots in my backyard and went to turn on the water, only to realize I had shut it off for the winter.
When I turned the water back on inside, it started spraying everywhere inside the cabinet! Turns out, I had a #burstpipe because I didn't properly winterize my own pipes. I forgot to remove the hose outside and open the hose faucet, so the water that remained froze and burst inside my kitchen cabinet.
Lesson learned: no cutting corners! I've booked a service appointment with Preferred Plumbing to fix the damage. Stay grateful, and remember to winterize properly!
