I have two ideas for kids toys that worked for m with 6 kids. pull the couch out and create a long space or a cozy corner for the toy box . The kids elect to play in that czy space and the middle of the room is often clear .2. Put shelves bak ther or whereever. Get two packs of animal stickers. Put the buterfly sticker on a toy and put i another on the shelf. The whole room becomes a puzzel that builds order in the child's mind. . Way better than chaos of a toy box for their thinkig skills.

Let’s start by getting remotes of the couch to the coffee table, and items land into labeled baskets / drawers/ cabinets etc… rather than somewhere in the vicinity of the basket…..

Yes that is definitively a good start, good point. 😂 And hopefully the closer those drop zones are to those locations, the easier that transition will be 😂

Purge first! Don't organize junk! Great info! almost to simple to realize because the table, counter, etc. always have stuff on them and ideas don't follow...

That’s so true!! Purging makes the largest difference… but it’s also often the hardest part 😂
