I agree 100% with you. I am currently stuck on step 7 and it feels like it may be impossible to beat. Mortem has 2646 base damage which increases to 3308 & it basically just alternates between Null Impact & Fierce Rampage. The dev's definitely missed the mark on this one. It is not fun trying to beat something for over an hour & still not being able to beat it. It relies 100% on RNG. You have to get an instance where it does not rampage or crit. It has nothing to do with skill, planning, or creatures. To beat it is 100% RNG.

I know others have said this but this event is pretty much impossible for a majority if not all of the JWA playerbase. Bosses having to much health, and constantly attacking and no way to exploit resistances like in the past. You cannot bleed them, rend is pretty much useless with the constant distraction.
I get what they’re doing with the whole event and while I do think it’s interesting I think it should be at least accessible for players beyond the top 100. It just doesn’t feel fair or reasonable
What will those people do if they have less creatures 😢 I have only level 17 indominus , level 16 gigaspikasaur , and level 16 scutophicyon 😭😭 I just can't win using these creatures
Maybe we might get lucky and Ludia will send us a compensation for failing this boss which had design intentions to be a raid boss and not a pvp boss. I seriously doubt it though. I tried everything!!

Meanwhile we got this event which has -10 thought put into it (which is consistent with the rest of the game's new content) and u get like a 70k health mortem rex thrown at u right away. Then u get a 99k health mini mortem at like stage 6 or something who designed this strike event??

Why bother having actual, admittedly horrendous, prizes if it's supposed to be unbeatable? Even the description of the mini rexes is inconsistent, saying they got "squeaky roars" which they don't got lmao they literally didn't even bother making the sounds different, which just makes this feel like corporate, rushed, poorly thought out garbage

I put in a massive amount of effort, it took about 12 attempts till i won do to the fact that this battle is full of rng checks and if you fail certain ones you just instantly lose, how i won was stall it with rachierus till about half hp and rachierus would die if i continued, subbing into atrocodistis to stall as long as possible and when atroco fell i sent in indonemys and hoped he spared me for nullifying which again is an rng check, i haven't heard anyone complain much about this terribly designed strike event being the worst, it is a huge amount of luck cause you can just die and if one of your creatures isn't immune you will get stunned, i got stunned everytime through a 75% resist so just roll with immunities, my final creature was erlikospyx to combo with indonemys debilitating rampage and run and with that having erlikospyx finish it with a precise rampage. Anyway the attempts before this were relatively similar the issue being though is that with rng as a factor you just lose alot of the time, and when mini mortem gets below 25% you have to make sure it takes massive damage so it either outright dies or is now enough for a "easy" finisher, now this is sadly not an available strat for everyone (i say that though the event has long passed) because this mission is designed for people who pay money, like straight up, i ghave only put 60 bones into the game but i have played since it was created and i recognize that this and pvp are innaccessible to most if not all players who don't pay, this going on too long now but props to anyone who reads this, tell me your strats if you won it also!
How did you get the Fiend skin?! Also how can I beat this when I don't have the best creatures at level 30 because I'm not sucked into this game's Pay to Win

Except- there is an entire history of tough but beatable annual April Fools events. Each year- Lord Lythronax, All Powerful Dodo, Biggie Gruff, Beelzebufo, Panda- the boss has been tough, but beatable. The community would come together and strategize. Yes, starting with high level players & then also coming up with possible lower level strats to try and help everyone. This is what the April Fools event is known as. It always had a charm to it. This year, sadly, is not that. The only way to beat most of these levels is having the perfect RNG. There is nothing charming or fun about it and that is a shame.
