Great tutorial for beginners. I still to this day use most of these but of course added complexity. Cone flips have floors added in and I do a 180 to triple edit out typically.
The Faze Sway Retake has a pretty strong counter of a floor being thrown in, so learning how to include floors and get all walls is helpful. I say all walls, b/c what'll happen is someone gets that floor and then ramp drops next to you and grabs wall.
The triple edit out to the right I use all the time. That is such an underated move and you take practically no damage from it.
A great combination move for anyone watching this is doing a cone floor tjump out and the tjump includes faze sways retake. Gets you up a layer and it's protected. Theres a really advanced version of this I use that swings a full box around you and throws in a floor, so unless they prefire, you can't get hit.

Anybody else having an issue with placing a wall in the upper right/left in the one sided tunnel/ Faze sway retake?

I don't know if it's my crosshair placement but when I try to the retake it isn't placing the upper left/right wall for some reason. The retake is the stairs, wall behind it, wall to the left/right, then a wall upper left/right. But when I try to place the upper left/right walls it isn't placing. Is it something to do with my settings?

Another good retake is placing a stair above and under you and then a 180 degree 90 and repeat

I’ve been trying to do cone flips but I play edit on release and non claw non paddles and I’m on controller is it possible
On the cone flip, I use edit on release but I don't use another bind. I just completely reset the cone, like an actually completed edit, and then re edit it. It works just as well, but I'm also a very fast editor. All I know is it works for me and I've been doing it like this for probably years lol

I played when the game first came out and stopped around the time the “sweats” became a thing. I recently just came back because I’m actually having fun on the game again and man has this game come a long way when it comes to building. The casual fortnite player now is like what tfue was in his peak it’s ridiculous. I’m actually going to take the time to learn some of this because cranking 90’s to the sky doesn’t work anymore

I don’t understand what making a second reset button does when cone flipping. It still just resets and I have to edit again.

I play with Edit on release on both, and other setting starting from the top, No, Yes and Yes, I have my edit on F, second edit button initially on mouse + scroll down and right click to reset building, I wanna get better but dk if edit on release on both is the way Jivan.
Edit on release is perfect if you want faster gameplay, however, this also means you need to have better aim and reflexes because you wont have good crosshair placement for some peaks
What if I am like 2 or 3 boxes bellow. But there is no space horizontally between us. What retake should I do? Because even if I use the high walls I get pumped from above. Thank you for this useful tips though. ❤❤
either us the sway retake to try and get height, or use a mix of 1 and 2

I've been watching for a while Jivan, but I feel like I need less than 40 ping in solo creative to do what you say, while you get lower ping in me in arena with 100 players vs me in solo creative.. (I'm on controller..)
how do you walk
I struggle with retakes because I'm super confident in my aim and box fighting. So I find myself boxing up mid fight and waiting for them to come to me, which sometimes is a real bad idea. I need to practice these retakes immediately!
