Initially, I wasn't hyped for this update just waiting for an issue but it all went off without a hitch. It's working well, themes make the system seem fresh and new...live from Playstation has been overhauled massively and broadcasting seem awesome! My ps4 is no longer a paperweight! Great video!
PS4 did everything Xbox did right last gen and more. When I switched from 360 to ps3, the one thing I missed the most was party chat. PS3 is a fucking dryland. No one barely talks. I can't wait to finally get my hands on the ps4.

this update broke my ps4 it won't turn on right and won't turn off i have to unplug it, psn won't work and the store doesn't work n it made my wifi slower
Did anyone notice that with this update the wifi actually remembers passwords and auto connect when switching between different networks. Before update you needed to enter passwords each time you use a different network.
I personally like the update. The new UI is pretty dull tho I was hopeing for a revamped interface but the themes are pretty cool some of them even has it's.on icons chimes and background music pretty cool.
I plugged in my external hard drive that I normally keep in my PS3 and the PS4 picked it right up. For those that don't know when ever you transfer music from the PS3 to a USB stick or hard drive it creates that MUSIC folder automatically.

And the random clips and voice commands on Xb1 work pretty awesomely too and I've been seeing it improve more and more since I've had mines! So is maybe get the Kinect too later brah. Share play is dope AF. MY friend and I was playing a custom franchise together on 2k15 through share play. It was dam near seamless and felt like he was right there. He said the quality was slightly degraded but there was pretty much no input lag.
My ps4 can't turn on it requires me to update through USB to turn on but won't recognize the update I downloaded the update through safe mode multiple times but it still thinks that there's no file installed Can anyone help?
The friends list is working properly now!? I think all hell just froze over... anywho, my favorite thing about this update would probably be the addition of themes and background colors.

Thing about Share Play is... I don't buy games just to sit and watch other people play them so, other than actually being able to play co op games with my peasent friends who can't be arsed to buy their own games, Share Play seems pointless to me. As soon as I realized that, I turned my PS4 off and went back to Bayonetta 2 :D #wiiumasterrace

I'm gonna go and put my Xbox one on layaway November 2nd cuz there's no fee right now and that way I lock in the price at $350 and can pay over time. Yeah buddy. PS4 in the livingroom on the 50" led and Xbox one in the bedroom on the 40" led.
SharePlay seems gd for checkin out a game but why would u let some1 else play ur game for u?. U lose the satisfaction of killin a boss etc simply by bypassing it.
Let's say there a level where Ur completely lost on what to do. Have a friend who already played do it for u. Or if you're live streaming and playing with people, it would be cool to let them take over

For some reason my usb music player won't pull up when I plug in my usb drive, nothing pulls up.
I think u have to make a music folder
do you have a music folder on your usb?
Make sure you have your Music folder in it AND that your usb is formatted to Fat32
