The saddest thing is that Finn and Will got on bad terms, they got into a fight and I think that's why they gave him that scene. Basically Finn died in a fight with his best friend and Will couldn't apologize in a good way to the son he never had before he died.

Watching the episode with this song made me tear up Later, my friend spoiled that he died, and told me that he did in real life too.
