This Game is a scam and 10x more expensive than the TCG. simple Math. $10 = 10 packs. 10 packs for 500 gems. 5000 gems = 100 packs = $100. all-in-all this man spent whats equivalent to over $400 once you include tax. bat sh*t crazy.
@@nbell5050 the TCG Decks are usually as expensive as ur result, so meta decks, which costs $400 onwarts are a pretty common accurance.

@@Flynnick I'm going based on what Konami charges. Look at the price for 10 packs you can equate that to gems. I've played this game for 2 and half years and recently stopped because, the grindiness of it is insane. People tell you to buy the deals and save you gems. So yeah they are that valuable.
@@musiyevonchilla6769 but that's for a whole deck. Not a hodge podge of cards that they are obviously holding back on. They intentionally release staggered sets just so you have to but the next core set with the rest of support for an architype.

@@runningoncylinders3829 There is a finite amount of gems you can get through grinding. Only enough characters and worlds to level up. After that you are limited to events and ranked and what you get with releases etc. When you are a vet, the gems run out. I am not a free to play player btw.

I level up my characters and rank up in ranked duel and complete any event that comes by, doesn't matter if I get 5 or 10 gems they eventually all add up, and I watch one replay everyday
$121 for 151 packs using the sale.
regular cost is $151 excluding the gems you got. $126 with gems.
It might not seem much cheaper but you also get all those guaranteed SR and UR pulls from outside the box and that could save you going in a third time.
In total he spend around $300 + 7k gems I think.
This is like the "return to Monke" meme. Cosmic Cyclone took the place of MST in the TCG the second it released (the only exception being Sky Striker.) But DL is going from Cosmic to MST

@@thiccupcake Plenty of builds played MST so they could pop their own spells if need be. Speifically that field spell that lets them recycle a link monster from the GY.

Fun fact, i had the exact opposite result, i went for the sales, pulled three screw serpents and have yet to still pull two mudans and one snowdrop wich i absolutely need even if they're not good because i been waiting years for a good plant deck other than aromages.

Getting gems in this game isn't so hard and I am a fairly patient person so I am mostly free to play too

so as for if the Main Box deals are worth it at launch:
If you buy the set at the base price of $5 for 5 packs and 50 gems, it equals out to 1.2 packs per $1
If you buy every deal altogether, ignoring the additional cards pulled, youre getting 151 packs for $121, equaling out to about 1.25 packs per $1
In conclusion, the deals are slightly better overall, and if youre just looking for 1 or 2 cards, the added SRs and URs might be worth it.

Summary:
Dkayed spent $296 + 8250 gems.
If we take 50 gems = $0.83 (which is the cost per pack from regular deals), then 8250 gems = $137.
The effective total is then $433.
The sales deals are worth it, especially the first three deals. All the sales deals together give you 151 packs for $121, or equivalently $0.80 per pack on average, whereas the regular deals are $0.83 per pack. However, the first three sales deals offer $0.60 - $0.66 per pack, while the rest of the sales deals offer the same price as the regular deals (i.e., $0.83 per pack). Of course, I'm not taking into account the guaranteed SR/UR cards, which adds a bit more of value to the sales deals.

3 Jasmine, 3 blessed winds, 2 gardens and 2 gardening, 1 Snowdrop and 3 Primula, 1 Tytannial, 2 Carrotweight champions, 2 Glamour, 1 Flurries. I think there's a video of one being played. You still need good rank 6 and 8 Xyz like Ptolemy and Bounzer to make it worthwhile (on top of the plant Xyz of course).

I got hella lucky. All I wanted from this box was MST and I ended up getting three out of the first box.
i remembered the days that i spend 180 packs to get a kycoo for my dm deck.
best card with low rate, happens everytime.

You can turn all your extra cards into medal or whatever they are.
You do know you can convert your extra cards for jewels right? Can be useful to buying skill lottery and card trader inventory. I’m just curious because you mention “you do nothing with them”. I suppose this is irrelevant to players with masses of resources, but for newer players trying to farm skills this is huge.

Just for know : When you buy boxes with gems, you have less chances for UR and SR (I'm totaly F2P, and one time I didn't pick any UR in 100 pacs... In a mais box)

I would love trading feature but it would just become tcg lite cause all cards would have a price. Still you could use it like a card-card trading so I guess Konami would just loose money.
Yeah i guess player to player trading is an unprofitable system for Konami. One possible solution to the issue of having more than 3 cards of a box UR/SR is to implement a system of having box specific UR/SR Jewels, which can only be obtained if you have more than 3 copies of a card. For example, if i have 5 copies of T.G. Halberd Canon i can convert 2 cards to 2 antinomic theory UR/SR Jewels which can be used to obtain a UR/SR Card in the antinomic theory box. Not sure what will be a fair conversion rate though, maybe 3-5 Jewels will allow you to obtain a UR/SR card of your choice from the box. With this System people will still buy boxes (Komoney is happy) and players have a method to get cards they want without destroying your wallet
@@kairongheng4128 Yeah that is good idea, but why would they do that when people buy packs anyways. I mean it wouldn't probably make much of a difference because some people would probably be more likely to invest, so Konami would have same profit and happier playerbase, but we all know that only thing Konami cares about is money.

It's self-explanatory mate. Using DS Kalin, challenge Yusei to a duel (either at the gate or if he's about in duel world) with Ccapac Apu in your deck, then summon it during the duel & attack to reduce Yusei's LP to 0, which is particularly easy as Ccapac Apu can attack directly.

The charmers require a charmer and a monster of the same time (can be the opponent's with the flip effect or the familiar) to special summon some bigger monsters.
When destroyed, you can tuto a monster with 1500 atk and 200 def except jigabyte ... That's just the common stats of all the archetype's familiars.

I mean, buy 6 times the 5 boxes offer :
It's 4.99 *6 = 29.94$ for 30 boxes and 300 gems.
(So you get to pay 5 extra cents each time for nothing ...)
You can also pay even less with the 1 box offer but then you don't get any gem.

i dont understand the hype about mst. We got cyclone and its 20x better because its removal + can trigger some skills because of the self burn effect
It’s still a good utility removal spell and will see play in some decks.
Not every deck can play cosmic its limited card.
Example: Invoker cant play cosmic
