I have a 2100-SKE (the clear one) that I only even bought on a whim when I saw it for $100 in a... dillards? initially I wasn't really taken by the ap kits, tho I did get a bumper wire + buckle + retainer band all in neochrome / iridescent which idk I thought It looked pretty cool with the super subdued watch with the little bright detail parts but then I found one of them neochrome just right about the time the stock clear case and strap became too yellowed to look acceptable, which like, with the dark muted dial set in the super eyepopping case has really good contrast which has an in all become one of my most favorites even tho I can't take out enough links to make it tight enough to actually fit my waifish 5.5" wrist so it slides back and forth across my wrist

When both watches introduced, i was on dilemma which one to buy. I found GA-2000 more interesting and good looking over GA-2100 and still do. Maybe because i don't like modes the casioak offers (this is a reason to like that watch).

I like the GA-2000 design better. I had a CasiOak for 3 weeks and returned it. Despite the hype, I didn’t like it. It felt cheap. The illuminator sucked. I bought the GA-2000 and GD-350 instead. It felt like I was really wearing a G-Shock because they looked “muscular” and robust as G-Shock should be. G-Shocks in its essence are tool watches. The CasiOak feels like a fashion watch.
