I can respect how he was honest about how he thought it was a woman's job to cook but he has a change of heart now because he loves his family and he shares the responsibility.
I never understood why some men think that it’s the woman’s job to cook when most of the chefs in restaurants are mostly men.I think it depends on the household that you grow up in.Because many men enjoy cooking 🥘🙂

When I fry food I put a piece of garlic in the oil, when it starts fring it's ready and it flavors the oil at the same time. Beautiful family!

Cultures are changing and its because of music, television, internet and diversity. Not so long ago it was not honorable for a Japanese to marry outside of his race especially to Chinese, Black person, etc. It was highly honorable and respectable for an Asian to marry a white person. It lightens the race and add diversity and better economical standards. It warms my heart that things have changed.

To test the oil put chopsticks in and when you see bubbles its ready to fry. Your flame should be turn to medium so the shrimp and fish fry to golden brown. Make tempura batter to fry fish. Good job though!

07:52 dip a wooden chopstick in the oil if there is bubbles coming from the chopsticks its hot enough or do like my grandma and flick some flour in the oil if it sizzles its good.

You can test the heat of oil by dropping a drop of water in the oil if it’s hot it will pop🤩
Hi Munari the way to check if oil is ready for frying is to wet your hand little and sprinkle wet hand on the pan/ pot, a little cracking sound means it's ready for frying lol..

Does your son's know any Japanese culture? It's so important that they learn culture of both sides. Oh, during this quarantine, theirs fun family CZcams, vids that can get the blood flowing, energized, mind stimulated, and fun family time while exercising. Always good to keep the bones strong 💪🏽 and establish good energy early so that healthy habits are gently stamped in their memory bank. I know at this time remaining inside is challenging. I have to stretch and do home workouts everyday to keep my body from locking up, and keep blood flowing.

My brother taught me a good way to check the oil is to put a chopstick in and if you dont see it bubble up and crackle/pop it's not ready...and also throw an onion in the oil for extra seasoning aka seeing when the oil is ready! Love my bro!
oil temperature tip....dip your chopstick in the oil, if the oil start bubbling on the chopstick, its hot enough
