    The real question: Numark Scratch or Mixars Duo Mk2?
    Big up!

    • @dezfyah
      @dezfyah Před 5 lety

      If Mixars Duo MK2 had Toggle switches then Mixars all the way without hesitation. Those Toggles really make things a lot of fun and easier. I have Rane 72 and use those things all the time. The Mixars built in USB HUB, balanced booth, separate browse button are great and necessary, but Numark was with that Toggle switch got me scratching my head between the 2 of them. I don't know.

    • @untouchablesounds868
      @untouchablesounds868 Před 4 lety +1

      i also realize that the Numark effects are post fader, the Mixars doesn't have that, only on their up faders

    For a v7 set up how does that set up work

    • @djmiyagi1950
      @djmiyagi1950 Před 5 lety

      With other DVS mixers like the 62, S9 and 72 you have to turn on the gear in a specific order since the V7's also have a Serato sound card. The mixer needs to be recognized by the computer first then, in some instances, the V7s work only as midi controllers. Check the Serato forums for more info on how to set them up.

      Works on Windows and Mac OS equally. On Mac OS the Mixer ist class compliant, so No need to install a driver. On Windows there is a dedicated driver on the Numark website.

    For some reason Timecode 1 is showing up as Timecode 2 (vice-versa)
    I have to change the rca plugs on the back to reverse it - is there a way to fix that.

      Double check the reverse switch / hamster switch. It's right above the cross fader... Also you can go to settings and select what deck your time code records work for...

    So FX doesn’t work without Serato like filter knobs in analog way ??

    • @vazfinestdjchozin1599
      @vazfinestdjchozin1599 Před 4 lety

      @BJ either you man it yourself or the SOFTWARE has mapped it for you. You also need the license for the product with the software your using. Better to get lifetime License subscription... That way whatever mixer or controllers you choose it will work for the software license. I use VDJ lifetime License. I use it with multiple controllers and mixer. Worth the 1 time buy when HARDWARE requires the license for SOFTWARE. VDJ has a list of what will work with the software. Virtual DJ adds the hardware and map it for you. No matter what you choose, it's the license that cost more money... Might as well go lifetime for future upgrades. Ijs. Hope this helps..

      @vazfinestdjchozin1599 Před 4 lety

      @BJ it should... Numark on Numark with whatever software. V7 is one of their best controllers..

    • @MakingMadBeats
      @MakingMadBeats Před 3 lety

      FX only work in Serato but not on regulär vinyl. The filters on the Mixer work with analog sources, though.
