Honestly I couldn't afford to pick one up but I do appreciate you show us this work of art.
I have a 404 xt with steel reciever in 270 win, 300 win mag, 8x57 js, 9,3x62 and 404 Jeffrey 😎 My girlfriend has one also but Artemis and aluminium reciever. Its nice to switch calibers depending on what and where we hunt. I love it. Iwe shot like 30 moose and 30-40 🐗 since 2014. Evereything just seems to die infront of it 🤷♂️😂 The 404 Jeffrey is nice but overkill here in sweden. I hope to try it on a Buffalo sometime 🤩

Sauer are absolutely beautiful rifles, fantastic quality, I love my 100 classic 308, I can only dream about their high end range at the moment (come on Lotto 🤞)
How is your 100 classic so far? I'm thinking about getting one myself.

Great review. I have one in 30.06 and could not be happier. Yes the baby costs a little more. But you are really buying more than one rifle. Will never need to buy another - just new barrels.

Got to handle a used Sauer rifle a few years back. The action was like glass. They were selling it for $6k and I regret not buying it.

I got a used Sauer 404 in grade 10 last year, beautiful rifles.
But the front hand-guard is a bit wobbly and not all people like that, its a side effect of the modularity with a two piece stock

Beautiful looking rifles , they both just make! you want to caress them, and squeeze the trigger the way you'd squeeze your girl friend or wife , Not bad shooting really considering all the caveats , shame about the flinch shot with the .375 H&H round ,but We all have the odd flyer, Good Show ! . Stay Safe Stay Well & Carry on shooting .

If the small magazine is 2 shot the bui magazine is 4 shot and if the small magazine is 3 shot the big magazine is 5 shot

FYI, you may be a SIG fan but you were holding a JP Sauer, not a SIG Sauer. Two different websites, and I too thought they were the same company, or at least they do not appear to be.
