"Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire" is one of the most recent movies that I watched in 2024, and, IMO, it still never fails to combine supernatural elements and laugh-out-loud humor, even though the film got mixed results. And it's great to see the OG cast teaming up with the new cast members for the ultimate spook-tacular adventure that make us say that we ain't afraid of no ghosts. As of 2024, my personal ranking for the "Ghostbusters" movies are: 1. Ghostbusters (1984) 2. Ghostbusters: Afterlife (2021) 3. Ghostbusters: Frozen Empire (2024) 4. Ghostbusters II (1989) 5. Ghostbusters (2016) Fun fact: Gil Kenan also directed the mo-cap animated horror comedy "Monster House" back in 2006.
I just watched it for the first time cuz I missed it in theaters on fandango at home and I thought it was underwhelming. The new character could’ve been cut out. I thought they took too much time with him. Not enough screen time with Finn. He was barely in it. And the OGs couldve been in it more. I gave it 2.5 stars
