  • The Gazelle S is the flagship single-to-double stroller from Cybex. It boasts an array of unique features that make it a strong competitor against the Mockingbird, UppaBaby Vista V2, and other luxury double strollers. Over the last several months, we've put this stroller through its paces to understand whether or not its worth the $799 price tag for the single seat version, or $1299 USD for the full double version. Let's take a deep dive into the features, pros, and what its live to live with the Cybex Gazelle S double stroller.

    This is such a great video! I just purchased this a few weeks ago and also think it's worth noting that the standard Gazelle S purchase comes (included in purchase) with so many more accessories than other strollers; like the Rain Cover for the stroller, cup holder attachment, clip in shopping basket and most importantly the car seat adapters that fit Cybex, Maxi Cosi and Nuna infant car seats! Just the rain cover and adapters are $100 if purchased separately so I felt like this was actually quite a good deal when compared to the Vista!

    i still love the baby gear reviews! I'd love to see more family/baby/toddler/dad gear reviews and travel tips with young ones

      Thanks! They're fun to do, but all of our kids are getting out of the age where we can use most of the baby gear that comes our way. We do plan on having more dad focused reviews soon though, so stay tuned!

    It’s the best stroller at first I bought the inglesina aptica XT very good stroller but only for one baby/toddler. My older is now 3 but he likes to nap in the afternoon so I bought the gazelle s and I love it… I’m watching this video while drinking my coffee outside in peace with both my kids napping in the gazelle s ( 3 year old and a 5 month old )

    Question!! Not sure if you’ve already done this review but what is the best compact stroller with a reversible seat??

    Do you feel like the materials and joints are holding up, and will hold up for a long time? Trying to decide between the Vista & the Gazelle and one of the main concerns I have is the Vista is known to be incredibly well made and sturdy, and I am nervous the Gazelle isn't as well made and won't hold up with wear and tear. Curious what your experience is so far?

      I would say they’ve been equally well built. The Gazelle edges out the Vista in pure lifetime versatility because both seats can hold up to 50lbs. The vista seats hold 50lbs in the main seat and up to 40lbs in the rumble seat. The plus of the gazelle is also that you don’t need extra adapters to convert it from single to double. The adapters are built in. After having both, the Gazelle has been our go-to since we received it for testing. It’s been in the back of my truck for months, has been through multiple road trips and hasn’t had any issues.

    Which color do you have? I'm wondering if the light color would get dirty as opposed to purchasing it in black. Have you tried washing it yet? Thanks!

      We tested the Lava Grey color. Haven’t had issues with staining more than other colors from other brands. Also, materials are easily washable.

      @@dadverb thanks for responding! I ended up getting it in lava grey and we absolutely love the stroller!

    I wanted to know if the first seat that comes with the stroller can be used as the second seat with the car seat clipped in at the top? Or is it like the vista where you need the rumble seat that comes separately? With a toddler and a newborn, I’d like to hold off a little bit to get that second seat if possible.

    • @dadverb
      @dadverb  Před 2 měsíci +1

      The stroller frame comes with a single seat. You can use that seat in either the upper or lower position. When you add a second seat, they’re interchangeable.

    You should do a review on toddler tough play pen. Thinking of getting that too!

    Can this be gate checked on airport?

    • @dadverb
      @dadverb  Před 2 měsíci

      Most double strollers cannot be gate checked and would need to be taken apart and checked as baggage. If you’re looking for something truly travel friendly, the Colugo compact, UppaBaby Minu, and Cybex EOS travel system are all great choices.

    Would it be suitable for a 3rd old and newborn

    • @dadverb
      @dadverb  Před 2 měsíci

      Yes. You can use the Cybex car seats (or another brand using an adapter) for a toddler and a newborn. That’s exactly how we used it with our kids!

      @@emakimberly6541 I just bought this and the store I bought it from said it can hold up to 50 lbs in each seat, so as long as your 3 year old is 50 lbs or under, it should be fine! :)
