- We are definitely on mountain time our first Geodesic Glamping Dome site is almost ready for the dome build. We bought our tiny home dome at the tiny house and glamping show last year and we are so excited to have finish our deck build to get started. This 2 acre mountain property will house 3 Airbnb rental spots, the first being our dome with on-suite bathroom and huge picturesque window. I have fallen in love with your channel. The two of you are hardworking and has become my second best homesteading video ( I. A. G Farms my #1). I pray often for your success. I can not wait to see you place the dome tent on that beautiful wood deck your husband built. OMG, the view overlooking the mountains is the perfect location. FYI:You two should wear jeans, muck boots, long sleeves breathable shirts, hats, pocket knife, & gun on you. Snakes & other animals see you before you see them. Sharp limbs could cut your bare skin. I can feel the love 😍 in your messages, we are so happy you found us and enjoy the journey. We're a bit of here, there and everywhere but no matter what we're always together ❤️. We normally post more often but took a few weeks to spend with my grandmother who was diagnosed with cancer and our biggest supporter. We just lost her last month and this is our first week back in a very long time, but through God's grace we are fighting it through. 😊

Oh it's good to be back. So many things have transpired some good, and some not so good, but here we are living any way. Our first week back working since loosing my grandmother who was our official 1st fan 👵. It took alot of praying to get the strength and courage to return to normal duties, but we know she wanted this for us so badly ❤️. Thank you for watching and God bless you 😊

Hey you guys are awesome, we are opening our resort soon and I been watching yall do your thing....Eric is me and my wife is You lol ....I'm the worker she's the videographer lol with some work in between ....question is Eric a general contractor?
So basically, what you're saying is your wife does all the work lol 😅🤣😂 because trying to get the shot, holding your boards while reaching for that tool you forgot is multitasking at its best 😝. Eric has a handyman license and worked for his uncle who is a general contractor/builder and also his dad and grand father who were both electricians. His specialty is trim and woodwork, so we are mainly still diy'rs with bits and pieces of contractor's background. I also have some design background and experience from working in the Lazboy showroom, put that together and were unstoppable. Congrats to you and your wife, keep us up-to-date on your project. This is so much motivation to get a video out we appreciate the love. I have so much footage not enough time to edit, but we will pump out something this week. It's so hard at this point it's all 4 hands on deck everyday trying to make some progress. We just layer my grandmother to rest a few weeks ago and took a break to take care of her while battling her last months of cancer. Slowly getting back on track but new obstacles mentally, physically l,emotionally and spiritually everyday.... But God 😇
I have a question on the deck. Did the permits allow you to build a deck like this? I’m looking do do something like this but I’m afraid it won’t pass building inspections
We had to have the site graded again and reposition it a bit they had no problem. We're in a bit of an unincorporated area also that could have helped. Definitely check your county as they are all different. We could have run into issues trying to update the original one, so we just tore it down and built a new.

No problem I wish I could offer more but it's so different every county, that's why we chose this property. Even the inspectors play a part some are a little lax and then some are an iron fist, we had to go down there twice.

24x30 it's great for the 20m dome enough walk space and hang out area 😍
