    Road markings that fade quickly waste the country's resources. They should last for up to five years. There's something suspicious about the road marking company.

      Someone most probably diluted the paint with water and that is sabotage.

      Criticsm is good but you never mentioned the type of paint they used which fades so fast against the quality that last 5 years.

    Carriageway markings fading is always a worry in Zim. I wonder why they cannot seem to find/use decent paint which actually stays visible on our roads.

      Road marking contractors often use temporary paint instead of permanent paint to ensure that they can secure future contracts for re-marking the roads and continue generating revenue. 😢

      ​@@MultiSteve1990true there is a technology called thermoplastic that they can use for the road markings to last long but they are reluctant to use it because of what you mentioned

    Nice road ,but what happened to all the culverts ?What will happen to the run-off when the rain comes?flooding loading in this area unless they have a plan about it .There is need for proper drainage

    Thanks as always GK for the nice content.Those guys flying on the new roads do so because of lack of law enforcement. No police visibility on our roads at all except at road blocks

    In my opinion, Harare drive needs to be upgraded and dualised.

      The government has already approved a project to do that.The road will have more lanes,bridges and tolls. The contract was given to Bitumen World
