Specimen 13's New Chase in Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation

- This is a demonstration video of Specimen 13's new and improved chase in the Halloween 2021 update to Spooky's Jump Scare Mansion: HD Renovation. (This is a reupload to a previous video I had shared of her chase from the update, which originally contained a major bug. The bug has since been fixed, so I have re-uploaded a brand new chase, bug-free!)
Additionally, Specimen 13 can now respawn again, unlike before. Also, a few specific specimens can chase alongside of Specimen 13 now, which is a massive change from before. Sadly, I couldn't show that off in this video, but hopefully in the future I can. From what I heard, only Specimens 2, 5, and 12 can chase alongside of her, which I find completely strange and bizarre that it's them, and ONLY them. (Although Specimen 2 kinda makes sense I guess, since he floats.) But I would not expected Specimens 5 and 12 to be able to do that, but sure...let's just select two random non-floaters to somehow walk through water and then call it a day. Sounds great to me!
What I like most is that you can actually see where the siren is swimming when you get on top of the boxes(i dunno if that feature was already there). If you don't have any other specimens, You can just wait tell she swims elsewhere by keeping track of the ripples.
Even more so, I like the new water vents! Makes more sense for her chase!
It did have a thing to show where It’s going when your safe and it was pretty much the same thing except it moved away much slower and the ripples where just slowed down sprites for when it splash’s while rushing at you
I love her improvement! Her chase looks more cooler and more harder now! They did a great job on Specimen 13!
I promise you that you'll absolutely hate this chase during endless mode, especially if there is 2 specimens 1
Thank God her og chase in the og and remake was pretty easy and boring since you could just walk in a straight line without stopping and win but the boxes seem more spread out and now she moves faster when you aren't in water and has shortcuts to catch you making her much harder I was so impressed I thought that this was a Dollhouse dlc rechase mod
This is a lot better than before. They fixed up many of the specimens to make them more of a challenge to players. I wonder if there's anymore specimens that need improvement.

It’s really great that it can appear in endless mode now! My only gripe is that the chase is LONG. I swear I got chased for over 50 rooms by this specimen and it was extremely tedious and frustrating
The amount of rooms your chased for is almost completely random.
@@johnkelleh9448 yeah but the minimum chase duration seems longer than most, or maybe it’s average but doesn’t take into account the time it takes to go through each room. I don’t know the exact numbers so could’ve just been unlucky 🤷
I agree that it’s way too long. The chase duration can last as many as 39 rooms, so it’s not random as the other commenter said. Plus, if you get her to chase again almost immediately after, it can theoretically be a nearly 80-room chase.
She makes specimen 10 chase feel fast

When I encountered this chase recently in endless mode I ended up alongside her getting chased by LITERALLY 4 specimen 2s... Ok I honestly hope that means only specimen 2 can chase you alongside her considering how impossible it would be if for example monster 2 or something chased you with her...
from what I heard, only Specimens 2, 5, and 12 can chase alongside of 13.
Well… 12 is still not the easiest to outrun, since his attacks have a very small window of invincibility frames.

it would be really good if they did the same thing to specimen 7
I'm not sure why they didn't apply the same feature to Specimen 7 as well. It really doesn't make any sense. But imagine having other specimens chase alongside of 7. It would be like the OG 7 glitch, but in HD instead.
Honestly 7 should’ve gotten a re-chase first, since he doesn’t force you to move at a snails pace for like 30 rooms
Oh, so the HD renovation does more than just update the graphics? This chase section looks different.
yeah, they JUST recently upgraded several of the specimens' chases in HD Renovation, making them harder. Before, Specimen 13's chase in HD was a complete joke and extremely easy. But now, they've made her a bit more of a challenge.
I swear, she'd rather be on land than but in most of my runs!

particularly I have always found that from... maybe specimen 10 onwards, the devs have become too lazy to invent new good specimens. I always think about how 10, 12 and 13 are pretty boring to me. I think nobody usually care about the 12 and 13 or remember the existence of them, lol
Its not being lazy. They even said that the issue was that most speciments were cits to other games or franchises and from 10 onwards it was hard to think of game mechanics from franchise that wasn't already used previously

Her chase is too long, and it takes too long just to escaper her, and her chase lasts for too long, unacceptable for me to be chased by in Endless Mode.
