- First Baptist Church Dallas imploded four buildings early on October 30, 2010. We were up over the scene for several hours in the news chopper, and I edited together some scenes. The implosion went as plan... making way for new expansion of the church

I am interning at FBCD.. My boss and I did all the audio for the event... I was standing about 10 feet behind the Mayor and Pastor.. I was relaying intercom messages (from the TV/Film crew) to my boss.. All the crew especially the director were saying that it was one of the coolest things that they have ever seen.. and I agree with them 100%! It was one of the best days of life... I am very thankful to be apart of the miracle that happened that day... God Bless!

@m8rt yes they are. I like the music, hence the reason I used it. Was better than silence or chopper blades.

I'm sorry...they levelled four perfectly good buildings to expand a church? Did they actually have a logical reason for doing this? Those buildings could've been refurbished into low-rent housing, storage...a hotel at least. Seriously, why demolish them to expand a church - one building alone would've been too many, but four? I'm not comprehending this - can someone please offer a viable explaination for this destruction? I'm actually very curious...

It sounds like it's like another 9/11 with all the music and everything . With all the destruction too . I'm not making fun of 9/11 in any way .
