I remember it like it was yesterday, when we lost in the Elite 8 20 years ago against Uconn.... It felt like we "Overachieved" and met one of the Heavy weights and of course, we would come up short.... Last year, we were supposed to be the "Heavy Weight" from the SEC but we "Underachieved". It is great to see this team play for "each other", Mark Sears, being a "Home Grown"
all History player for this team is amazing.... His unselfishness to let Grant take the lead in the 2nd half is the meaning of "Playing for each other". Also, Ryan Griffin hit 4 huge 3's in this game, also.. We have 3 "Southpaw" shooters at least I noted, "Estrada" another one we do not win this game without.... Very unusual.... I wonder if that makes a difference for defenders... I played the game up through High School in the late 70s, never faced a lefty..... Roll Tide !!

Comments are turned off on the unc press conference but I wanna say, as someone who loves my mom, dad, and Duke; in no particular order, I feel bad for Bacot. He played hard, stayed loyal, and it's sad seeing him STILL keep his composure knowing this was his last game. One of the very very few unc players I'll miss being in the game. Good luck, but I know you'll do well.

Bacot is excellent, but he got doubled quickly and had to pass the ball. NC is excellent, but the defense of Bama shut the door in the 2nd half.
It seems more that UNC lost than Bama won but I’ll take what I can get. The UNC shooting was not up to their normal standards. Well done Coach Oats and Bama squad……….🐘🏀💪
