So, don't do Ubuntu, take a roller like Arch or so, updates in a split second.

I use Arch and I'll tell ya it ain't always a split second, and there's no guarantee you've got a working system afterwards.

@@pietjespappie Really depends. It depends way too much tbh. I've been using Arch for a few years, and had to re-install, or otherwise debug from a recovery stick a few times now. It's at the point where I can't really trust an upgrade, which is a horrible feeling to have about my main PC.
I'm currently in the market to switch to something more stable. I'm tired of booting up my system to work or play a game, only to be met with a black screen, or hitting a kernel panic after a few hours, then looking through system logs I don't understand for a few hours, trying to track down an open issue or PR for some obscure package that whoopsies accidentally broke functionality on computers running on a certain model of AMD processor or some shit.
