I love how Kieran, in response to Arven and Penny just casually eating mochi that came from a random Pokémon, just goes full blank eyed and basically yells, “Are you kidding me?! DON’T EAT THOSE!”
He’s the only one with any common sense in the group and he knows it.
And the way he turns to Pecharunt and is like, “And just WHERE are you going?” like an angry mom. Pecharunt even tries sneaking away like a kid trying to evade a scolding.
I agree lmao. Like even if it wasn’t mind control evil mochi, why would you eat something a random thing spits at you? You don’t know what it is. Even if it tastes like the best thing you’ve ever ate, it could be like the things poop or something
I love the fact that after Kieran says that pecharunt takes one look has a mini freak out then runs away saying “ Cha cha cha “ like a kid that knows they’re in trouble 😂

Honestly I love that so much. It got really annoying seeing those theory videos treating the theories as facts, so the exact opposite of the popular idea happening was so funny to see.
I swear I'm gonna burst out laughing if we end up finding out that the devs did it exactly to roast the fans 😂
Never doubt Game's Freak writing choices ever again. They know exactly what they're doing. Well some of it is pretty hit or miss, but it's mostly great.
I don’t get it, then why did his hairstyle change to look like Pecharunt? What was with the toxic aura that surrounded his fists when he awoke the Loyal 3?

Right? Freaking WEIRD choice tbh. Like, I'm glad they brought the main three back for some more story as that's my favorite element of the entire game, but. This sure was... a decision of some kind.

the irony that Kieran n the end was the only member of the main squad to NOT be mind-controlled by Pecharunt at any point is not lost on me. The theories that have been happening since the beginning that he'd be controlled by Pecharunt sometime in-game were subverted in probably the most humorous and ironic way. Penny, Nemona, Arven, his sister, his grandparents, everyone in his home village EXCEPT him.
Yeah.
Plus the fact he ends up your main ally in this is heartwarming, as it really shows his development.
I think the same and someone pointed out that maybe Kieran was manipulated by Peacharunt but in a more subtle way which could explain his drastic change of behaviour. If that´s really not the case then it´s a perfect example for irony.

Literally, the weirdest (and kind of funniest) thing to come out of a Pokémon game. I really loved it, specially seeing the interactions between your Paldean friends and the ones from Kitakami.

I used Ogerpon for this fight, and she does a special animation where she cries in response to Pecharunt's cry in the beginning

The peach orchestrated the death of the only friend she ever, she rightfully deserved that killing blow in the end after letting out the war cry.
It's not just Ogerpon that gets heated. If you use any of the Loyal Three for the fight, then Pecharunt itself will get upset in response. The little floating fruit is not happy to have its own minions used against it.
Yeah. She knows Pecharunt was ultimately the one behind all the suffering she had to endure, since it gave the Loyal Three power.

Scarlet and Violet is so far the only game that made me really, really care about your friends in game, especially in this epilogue where they stepped up the interactions and dialogues. It really gives that high school/university vibe that I start to miss...
Dont forget that pecharunt is canonically responsible for the death of ogerpon's trainer

Nemona being so battle crazy that she still insists on battling you and using her usual catchphrases even while POSSESSED has to be my favorite bit in the entire series. Nemona as a character is just fantastic.
It would have been cool if Kieran did ate the mochi, only to have no effect on him. He could've had something the others lacked, *sheer willpower*

I'm getting major Yo-Kai Watch vibes from this epilogue, and I mean it in a good way. I'm looking forward to using Pecharunt in battle.
Is it because of how Pecharunt is based off of Momotarō and the fact that Kitakami has some vibes of Japanese culture like Johto?
Not just that. The way Pecharunt controls people to act according to a singular gimmick (in this case, chicken dancing and mochi shouting), combined with the purple aura, is very similar to Yo-Kai Watch’s inspiriting. Only real difference is that Pecharunt needs to feed someone a mochi to control them, while Yo-Kai can just use magic

Pretty interesting that the Grampa had an Arbok and a Weezing, a nod to Team Rocket's original Pokémon party.
Cool detail I noticed is that the game or this specific cutscene at the beginning of the game where Penny says, “Hey, a Nintendo Switch…” the Nintendo Switch has the same colored Joy-Cons as the Switch you have in Real Life. The joycons the person have are the Zelda ones or the white Oled. I have purple and orange on mine. Check it out

Honestly I liked the fan-predicted name better, they knew it was right before Pelipper alphabetically so they named it “Peachikeen” to fit the Loyal naming scheme. Turns out Hydrapple was the only one we got right

Hopefully a long time. I'm talking 3 years at the very LEAST. They should release another legends game and a black and white remake in between. Scarlet and Violet are great games that were brought down because they were rushed due to corporate greed
This is the ending of scarlet and violet not gen 9 upcoming projects are in the way probably a legend game
Likely in 2025, it's the 30th anniversary of Pokemon and by then the Switch 2 should have been out for about a year, though I suspect they'll also release them on the Switch as the very last Pokemon games in it (they won't want to say goodbye to a platform with that many players so fast)
This year I bet it's either the 5th gen remakes or another Legends.
Most likely in 2025.

From what I heard that Pecharunt is still trying to get Ogerpon's masks, which are currently in the player's possession for it's caretakers, even though they no longer exist anymore. Funny that the player looks like they Matrix the Mochi while Kiki had dumb luck on resisting that Binding Mochi.
It was kind of hard to take any of this seriously when everyone was chicken dancing
It's not supposed to be serious. Your adventure is over. You've become champion, made some friends, caught a few legendaries, and finally squashed your beef with Kieran. Now it's time to have fun with a goofy filler episode

Pecharunt caused some kind of zombie invasion in Kitakami.
That dreadful chicken dance and that GRATING song accompanying... The stuff of nightmares when I played through the Epilogue. Everything else BUT THIS was awesome though - especially the confrontation between Ogrepon against Pecharunt.
This DLC was so much fun and I’ll always cherish this pokemon game 😊 and thanks for uploading the entire dlc for us viewers !

That story was pretty short compared to the first two stories. Of course, it is an epilogue, so it can't be too long. Sigh... I guess that's that for ScaVio.

This was one of the oddest things they have ever done for Pokémon, but it's interesting, nonetheless. Though, I think this epilogue and the Teal Mask should have been part of the main story in the post game, instead of a DLC.
I'm not a fan of the Terestalizing gimmick. The Paradox Pokémon were more interesting. They, the ruinous quartet, and the Kitikami legends would have made a better story, I think.

3:38 I friken love ❤💕💗 the part where Juliana returns home 🏡🏠, reunites with her with her old friends after who knows how long, and has a playdate with them at her house 🏡🏠. It’s a such very wholesome and heartwarming experience/moment. MLP was right, friendship really is magic 🪄.
