I LOVE Curlsmith! In my trial and errors, the cream is what makes the gel not have the level 10 hold it’s supposed to have. When I use the gel alone without applying it properly it gave too much hold 😂. I learned how to use the gel better without the cream, but this weekend I’m going to try to use it in conjunction with the leave-in conditioner and diffuse with my Dyson. My Dyson has changed the whole game and literally enhanced how all my products work!

I love your hair and you got great results. I just tried Curlsmith and I love the co-wash too. The smell is so nice! I didn't try the other products you showed in this video. I did their Air Dry Cream with the styling balm and I liked the way it turned out, but it didn't have much hold. I also tried the soufle and that had better hold, but I also used the Denman brush and my hair wasn't soaked. I'll have to try it in the shower and not use the Denman.
Ugh amazing! Hair goals my hair is taking so long to grow and shrinkage doesn’t help at all 😞 I hope my hair looks like this one day
Thank you for this video. I tried their styling gel and got the same frizzy results. I thought it was me or my technique but you are more experienced than I am and we have similar curl patterns and your results look just like mine. Love the brand but not the stylers.
they have an oil in cream leave in conditioner which really helps with frizz. Also I like the shuffle better than the in shower gel. I get better results and a lot less frizz
I admit, I'm not totally sold on co-washes, but I might give it another try. Great volume for day 1. Lovely.
I'm not a totally cowash kind of girl, but I will cowash from time to time if I don't feel like shampooing my hair. I have to admit you hair sis is on point... I'm loving your wash and go. I just did a wash and go today and watching your video has me wanting to wash my hair again and start over lol! I'm going to check out these products... thanks for posting.

This is a great video because I’ve been on the fence about Carl Smith and one of my reservations with the fact that most of their hair models have relatively loose curls, but you have amazing gorgeous coils and it really did work for you. Could you do us a favor and post the specific products that you used in the video information section? You said them at the beginning but I had to go back and check for it; The link goes to the entire CurlSmith line and I just wanted the four products that you used. Thank you so much for everything!

Mireya Garcia I absolutely recommend the Hydro creme soothing mask, style balm, in shower style fixer, and the cowash!
You should use the oil in cram for shine and the refresher spray for maintenance
Listen I just tried the gel and wow! I love it but I def failed the first time I used it. My curls look like Alyssa’s but I have less length. When I used the gel in the shower i didn’t get enough coverage. It did nothing. I had to redo the wash and go the next day but this time i got out of the shower and sprayed down my 8 sections and applied it well. Y’all this is extreme hold. It’s an 11/10 for me! It locked in the moisture so well. I have a bad habit of picking my ringlets apart all day and it causes terrible frizz. I’ve got no frizz and it’s day 3. And I finally broke the cast today and I could have broken it on day one. My curls have never looked of felt this moisturized for this long. I’m amazed!!! Fyi this gel feels sticky until it dries but whew. Take all my little coins ok?
I loved the Curl Fixer Gel! I have 4c low porosity hair. It was the bomb but I did not use the styling creme I used the creamy oil instant leave in conditioner first then the gel. I got five days out of it.
I 2nd the Shower Fixer Gel being amazing and holy grail status!

Try letting it air dry 90 percent then diffuse it on low heat. That’s will help you have more define curls and not the result you got from the products.

Nice video! I went back to wearing my hair natural. This review is very helpful. BTW..The Phthalates is pronounced THalates (no pH)!! I research a lot and found that Phthalates are hormone disruptors and is in a ton of products including plug-ins😑

I’m so confused I bought the 30oz based on reviews, used half the bottle, and the slip is so horrible! I don’t understand the hype- if it’s creamy but I can’t comb it through my hair, it just makes me spend 3x as long in the shower 🥴

Wait, the kit doesn't come with full size stylers? I thought it did. For $65, I would think they'd give you the full size bottles, not the travel size ones. That's really disappointing. I was thinking of getting this because I want to try all four of these products, but for that much money, I want full size products for all of them.
They are very concentrated reduces so only a small amount is needed to be effective...regardless, CS IS a luxe brand. But with them, in my experience, some are worth the money n actually save me money..like that In Shower Style Fixer. I only use 3 grains of rice sized amounts of the gel for my whole head of hair and the definition is long lasting and frizz free..even in the TX humidity!

You should apply the gel after your done conditioning, hold me softly just over powered the gel.
