Subbed. I'm doing pretty good on promoting my 1st official video. Got 4k views in 2weeks off a few ads for $1 a day and 70 shares. But i know i can do better if i hone in deeper on my niche and sub genre. Thanks for the tips
Promoting CZcams video is way harder though, any tipsÂż 4k on fb and 250 on youtube in the same time frame is a vast difference. And my main goal is to gain subscribers and only have 8 đ trying to turn all those likes/shares/views into CZcams views/subs

super video. I was wondering how effective just Boosting ist and instead using customized targeting. Could you explain more about the pixel tracking? how do I get a pixel and where do I put it and what is it actually for. You mentioned about honing in on your ideal target, does that mean also which country I should be targeting? For example I live in Germany but would like to also get people in US and Canada or should I just concentrate on Germany, Austria and Switzerland? Hope you understand what I mean. I can't boost a post do to "explicit lyrics" even thoughâ I've done so in the past. Facebook doesn't have any answers as to why so I wanted to know if you could help?? like I said I've boosted post with explicit lyrics and a few other rapper I know still do.. Any idea what I'm doing wrong??

Subbed. I'd be interested in how you budget for your music. The profit margins can be tricky to advertise with ( itunes/amazon take a % leaving you with less $$$ to throw back into advertising after you've sold a song , etc) . Kinda seems like Multirevenue streams are the way to go but a bit tricky to organize.

What a great Vid! The tips are spot on! @3.40 You mention using web site/Blogs visitors to create a custom audience for FB adds. You mention using tracking pixel. What feature of FB do you use to create that custom audience? In what form do you capture the visitors data? is it IP address? something else? Ciao from Berlin
Create a new "Website Traffic" custom audience in your ads manager, and the rest should be explained on screen

I just started an ad yesterday and I want to target people who like covers of songs but would enjoy it with different lyrics (I call it a remelyric) but I only want to target people in Cleveland to build up a fan base in my area to generate a lot of talk in my area that way I can eventually do live shows easier and faster because I'll have such a strong fan base in my area and of course eventually move out of into other cities.
I'm gonna see how well the ad does in the morning while everyone is on there phone checking it and if I think I need to change up my targeting within Cleveland then I will. I tired targeting Tori jelly fans before but that target was too small so I went to Taylor Swift.

Hey man. Great video! I am a promoter and use FB ads regularly. I rarely see the reach that comes up as "estimated reach". Typically it is WAY under that. I typically work in hard rock/metal genres and I see other companies/promoters doing sponsored content and getting massive reach while mine are majorly under developing.
I typically have about 30 interests in subgenres, aged 18-30 (typically age at shows - 13-30 if all ages event), within 25 miles.
An ad that has potential reach of 700k, $50, with those demographics, and I am getting 2.5k reaches.
What am I doing wrong? Thanks!

Don't do 50 a day. Do it over a week. You'll get way better results on facebook

Okay so I wrote a song which I think could be a really big seller but the problem is nobody knows who I am so I'm trying to promote my music but I don't know if I'm doing it the right way usually I'll just put a picture of the graphic of my single and then I will put a youtube link but I realize that that's not working I think I'm doing the wrong thing but I really want a song out there it's really good it's very catchy and I know for a fact that this song could be trending if I could be promoting it correctly

Hi! How are you? I found your video really interesting. Right now I'm actually doing a music business course and am learning about Facebook Advertising. I am an artist who is starting out so my primary goal is to build my mailing list by giving away a free song. Is there any specific advise you'd give me in this instance? What's a good starting budget for Facebook ads? What are the definite dos/don'ts for this particular idea? Thanks! (Also: You have gorgeous eyes! Haha! Thought I'd throw that in! :P)
Gigi MonRose I would attach an additional value piece to your free song. For example, if you love women's fashion ... maybe footwear ... I would incorporate that into your marketing. Maybe a vlog or blog showing you shopping and you giving your opinion on the items ... doesn't have to be shoes, but I'm sure you have something that you love and are passionate about that you could incorporate. Most artists are super creative! :-)
