I have to agree with some of the other commenters on this one. I’m not sure this is money well spent.
With all of the other restrictions, did he really get any performance gains. And it sounds just as if did stock.

It's ok, but IMO removing the resonators would make the exhaust sound better. If the customer is happy, that's all that matters. The drone is a genuine concern.

If he went with the Borla XR-1, he does want the performance more than the sound.
Unless you are running headers and a huge cam, those mufflers are "Stock+" at best and I am glad you did this video because I had a pair of Borla 40085s laying around and I was gonna put them on my F-250 because I already had them, but now I'm gonna look at some Black Widow Venom 250s or a pair of Carven R mufflers.
Even if you remove the other resonators, you will get more sound, but you'll get much more drone, too and the sound won't improve enough to justify the drone based on my experience....

Ford doesn't make a 6.2 for the 2023 F350, its either a 7.3 or a 6.8 gas engine
2022 is weird. I didnt realize they did the 6.2 for one more year.

Yeah, the 6.8 was a nice upgrade in '23 over this '22 6.2. The 6.2 was a modular type design engine, the 6.8 is a baby Godzilla.
@@laurafly3263 Correct, the 6.2 was SOHC, the new 6.8 and 7.3 are OHV, the 6.8 and 7.3 share the same block and 4.22" bore, the smaller displacement is achieved via a shorter stroke crankshaft (3.976" vs 3.68")

You won’t get a performance gain with just a muffler swap and with no difference in sound, this was an all around poor decision.
