When one of the artists referenced there not being wrinkles in the suit in the MCU films, it made me realize how great the VFX was for The Amazing Spider-Man suit especially bc it truly shows how wind would react to the suit when swinging around at high speeds.
it bothered me so freakin much when i went to watch homecoming. im like why does he look like playdough or something. where the hell or the seams. I am barely beginning to learn how to animate just now and i noticed that in 2017 when i was 14

Watching these clips made me feel like i was watching deleted scenes from the TASM movies, the web swinging choreography along with the quality of the visual rendering is nothing short of spectacular!
Coming back to this after the release, the Vfx was irreplaceable, it was so easy to see what shots you all worked on and shots that they had to get new people to do
Imagine if Spiderman was only teased but never actually revealed or confirmed to be the in the MCU but then his actual first appearance/entrance is 6:28. That's be one spectacular way to introduce him! Mad props to this VFX team for making such an amazing feast for our eyes.
That is what I initially wanted instead of how we were introduced to him in Civil War. Don't get me wrong, I like Tom Holland's interpretation of Spidey. Especially after No Way Home as it sorta brings him back to status quo. But seeing that VFX shot in the MCU as the first introduction of Spidey and not having to bother with any kind of origins whatsoever, would have been so cool. A well experienced Spidey with already quite a bit of years of experience.
Yea when they were talking about it in the beginning, and when they showed the pre animations it looked weird. But the final shot look sooooo good. I like when he kinda had the double webs from both hands like a Y shape
It feels like watching Lost Media being finally found after a long period of time. These shots are just amazing honestly, and I hope you all someday get hired into working on an actual movie. Hell, maybe an actual Spiderman one. You have earned a subscriber.
I really would like to see Corridor Crew look at these shots honestly. I feel like all of them would love to see people work so passionately on this project.
Thing that annoys me: I wanted to see this film regardless, I love watching films and seeing how the cinematography, choreography, licensed music and original tracks are all done/used. I would love to see it still - just to show some support for the animators and everyone else (not involved in the controversy) and the work they did. The fact the idiots responsible for the controversy all behaved the way they did is just wrong and it really agrovates me as I typically love to support fan films. Great VFX work and I love the effort put in to it, would love to work with you lads and gals on a project at some point in the future.
Called haters, if someone succeeds they will do anything to bring someone down. The controversy is dumb and was no actual reason to leave a project on the shelves. Everyone seems to care about what happened in the past but not focused on the person one is now. That's how scummy the whole thing is. They should still pursue this because it's a game changer for their lives. They shouldn't worry about someone's past if they are different as a person now. Yet whatever it just makes zero sense to do such a thing, simply get that film out and part ways. It's a job and a achievement, doesn't matter what happened 5-20+ years ago that doesn't represent what the milestone means. That's what annoys me the most. It's different if it's something that recently happened, i personal don't know what happened at the fullest but this projected needed to go out and be known.
It's really disappointing, you guys were the very backbone of this short film. To see them squander it all and you guys having to to leave is a bummer but it's for the best and I'm glad that we get to see you VFX work at least.

I've been a huge Spider-Man fan for as long as I can remember and the passion I've seen from you guys in just this one video makes my heart so full. It's clear that you guys really cared about the project and wanted to be faithful to the fans as much as you could, and it shows! in an alternate timeline, everything went flawlessly regarding this film and the actors and vfs artists got recognition which then led to them farther working on bigger projects and maybe even Marvel studios themselves
You guys have some crazy potential, for being relatively new to this kinda work I’m very impressed with what you guys accomplished. Sad to see it crumble but every tunnel got some sunlight at the end.

6:16 made me cry, and not because the shots themselves were beautiful, believe me they were, but its the fact that we couldn't get to see more of this. Mad props.) that we won't see the finished product. It was everything I wanted to see in a spiritual successor in terms of feel to the Andrew-verse, and a beautiful mash-up/adaptation of what I assume was going to be Spider-Man:Blue" and "the kid who collects Spider-Man." The whole swinging sequence is on par or at a couple of frames maybe even better than some of the official live action Spider-Man stuff we've seen so far and im not exaggerating, your hard work will not be for nothing, there's nothing but greatness on the horizon for you guys, keep it going 💪

@@ola_ola._. Lenses are different, Both logos are different, Lotus suit has slightly raised webbing, Wrinkles on suit and the colors are different as you said so it's not "literally the same suit as the spiderman remastered repaired classic suit" there are cleary many differences between them.

VFX artists are criminally underrated, doesn’t matter if they work for a giant company or they’re working on smaller projects. People tend to forget that those amazing images you see on the screen didn’t just sporadically appear; people worked their asses off, and I’ll always respect VFX artists anywhere, anytime.

I was inspired by it(although I may not get to see it), and it didn't just make me want to see it, but it made me part of who I am. And for everything I've been hearing about the project, I've actually felt really guilty and sorry to see it all happened and seeing how much it's affecting the project, and I felt sorry for you and the guys who helped worked on it. I originally did put Spider-Man: Lotus on my top list of Spider-Man fan films I'm gonna see(Which is a video now that you can find), but right now I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch the fan film anymore. What you guys came up with in terms of VFX is definitely in-between what the CW puts in their superhero shows and what companies like ILM are doing. I've been a huge Spider-Man fan for as long as I can remember and the passion I've seen from you guys in just this one video makes my heart so full. It's clear that you guys really cared about the project and wanted to be faithful to the fans as much as you could, and it shows! As far as I'm concerned, you guys on the VFX team have done a phenomenal job. I was smiling so hard when the final shots were put together and I could see your hard work on the screen. Thank you so much for putting so much of your hard work and your precious time into the project, and even though we'll never get to see the completed project, just know that this one video is something I'll be coming back to over and over again for the shots. 6:16 made me cry, and not because the shots themselves were beautiful, believe me they were, but its the fact that we couldn't get to see more of this. Absolutely gorgeous, I'm so glad the VFX team did an amazing job with the footage they had. I was also kinda wowed with the unfinished shots as well, cause my brain was filling in the blanks on how the animation could've looked like. Thanks for sharing this video, all things considered, I'm glad you cleared some misconceptions up and still had me fairly entertained the whole way through! 👍

This is honestly GUT WRENCHING these guys put in so much effort and love and hard work into something I KNOW to them means a lot to be apart of. I really really REALLY wish we could’ve seen this movie. I still believe it could/should be done. I understand what happened and what was said isn’t okay, but the hard of dozens of others should not have been jeopardized like this. I am so sorry to you all. It was everything I wanted to see in a spiritual successor in terms of feel to the Andrew-verse, and a beautiful mash-up/adaptation of what I assume was going to be Spider-Man:Blue" and "the kid who collects Spider-Man." The whole swinging sequence is on par or at a couple of frames maybe even better than some of the official live action Spider-Man stuff we've seen so far and im not exaggerating, your hard work will not be for nothing, there's nothing but greatness on the horizon for you guys, keep it going 💪

VFX artists are criminally underrated, doesn’t matter if they work for a giant company or they’re working on smaller projects. People tend to forget that those amazing images you see on the screen didn’t just sporadically appear; people worked their asses off, and I’ll always respect VFX artists anywhere, anytime.

Hi. I'm Ean from Ean Huff Films and Crafts Studios, and I just want to say that what you and the others did was phenomenal, and I was mind blown from what you did for Gavin for making the film. I was inspired by it(although I may not get to see it), and it didn't just make me want to see it, but it made me part of who I am. And for everything I've been hearing about the project, I've actually felt really guilty and sorry to see it all happened and seeing how much it's affecting the project, and I felt sorry for you and the guys who helped worked on it. I originally did put Spider-Man: Lotus on my top list of Spider-Man fan films I'm gonna see(Which is a video now that you can find), but right now I'm not sure if I'm gonna watch the fan film anymore. What you guys came up with in terms of VFX is definitely in-between what the CW puts in their superhero shows and what companies like ILM are doing.
