Thanks so much for the recipe
I was hoping to see exactly the ingredients list
“It smells like STRAWBERRIES”
My heart 🥺
1. Combine Strawberries and Sugar into medium sized pot over medium heat. Allow to simmer for 10-15 mins.
2. Add Lemon Juice, optional.
3. After Strawberries have tenderized enough, add Cornstarch and Water slurry.
4. Allow to boil for another 2-5 mins.
5. Remove from heat and use as is or use a blender to puree.
The recipe is available on my website www.amylearnstocook.com
Thanks Annabel!

Wow! Strawberry glaze actually made with strawberries! Not a pan of corn starch, water sugar and jello!!! Thank you. Real cook. 😊
Aw, I was hoping to see it get put on the cheesecake too. :)
Sweet Ma’am, you just solved my longtime issue with the cornstarch lumps !!! Thank you for existing 🥺♥️🍓✨
So explanatory. Perfect. Thanks Amy !
Very simple and easy! I’m going to make this to go with the cheesecake I’m making for Thanksgiving! ☺️
This is probably the easiest and best glaze i've seen thus far, amazing i will be making some now just waiting on my berries to defrost i don't have fresh berries but i'm sure it will still turn out great. Thanks so much i will continue to use your recipes from here on out thanks so much hun
Thank you for the wonderful video on the strawberry glace. It looked delicious. I will try in the next couple of days.

Thanks for sharing this recipe, i might do this at home very soon..

Thank you Amy, I made cheesecake for my boyfriend for Valentine's
Made it today for cheesecakes it is delicious
Very good !
Thanks
I use just blended strawberries water and sugar for my glaze and let it simmer till it thickens to my liking taste great and its easy
Love the immersion blender tip that will help it be a thicker glaze with still some strawberry chunks.
I can’t eat that stuff the sell in the stores as a strawberry glaze. It’s totally disgusting and this is so easy to make.
Love this lady, she is so awesome
I made this glaze today to top my cheesecake, it's gonna be good.
Awesome video. Tried it for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I'm using it again. First time I used blueberries and I'm using raspberries this time around. I love the sweet and slightly sour combination quite a bit.
Sounds delicious! I will try it with different berries. Thanks for the tip!
Thanks Amy ! This was a great video ❤️✨
Thank you.
I love this and I am trying it out. Had some struggles with strawberry on cheesecake now is over. Thank you so much

Strawberry glaze forever 😋😋😋😋😋😋😋😋
LOL!
@@AmyLearnsToCook - I love strawberries, blueberries etc., and Your str. glaze video made Me 😁to move towards fridge, where My cheesecake with str. glaze rest and waiting to be eaten by Meeeeeeeeee !!!😉🍟🍰🧁🍵
pjczuba lmao🤣🤣🤣
Thank you
Thanks for watching!
Spot on; I opted for no lemon but this is dangerously delicious
Dangerously delicious is accurate. Sometimes it has the same fate as our strawberry jam (and that we end up drinking it rather than putting it on a dessert). Flavored lemon-aid. Yum-yum.
thank yoy, for an amazing recipe
i like your recipe
Strawberry 🍓 Cheesecake 😋😋😋
Thanks for teaching me how to make this sauce.
Hi Amy & Eric!!! I enjoyed this video today. Nice glaze. I shall give this a try. A fan&friend. DiDi
Hey DiDi. Better late than never? Glad you enjoyed it!!! Thank you for watching!!!
Love it!! Great content, better cooking 👍🏽
Thank u so much for amazing receipe😘😘, i made it and added in my flop/tasteless starwbery icecream(made by me🙃)into yummy one 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you Amy
Thanks for watching!
It turned out great
I always strain mine. Much smoother, silkier finish
I love strawberries!
This sauce should also be tasty with waffles and whipped cream.
Or crepes.
Or on top of pound cake.
Drizzled over olive oil cake.
Trifle with lemon curd and shortbread cookies.
I'll stop now.
Sorry, but "olive oil" cake?... 👀
Great 👍
Thanks, Pablo!
got a slice of cheesecake from olive garden and they didn't include my strawberry sauce so I thought I'd just make my own. Thanks for the video!
Amazing
Looks delicious Amy! How’s your garden doing?
@@nancybrown3813 can you not reply to me saying this like she makes comments to do that
What’s the longest you recommend for this to be kept in the fridge for future use
Thanks so much for this! My mom is wanting strawberry cheesecake so this should be perfect for it.👍
Cheese cake and strawberries 👍🏼 things I like
How long does this last in the fridge?????? Please answer...
I'm preparing some now. The thickening agent (cornstarch) really isn't necessary, just allow it to reduce (cook-down) and it'll be syrupy and DELICIOUS ‼️‼️ I also enjoy JUST A HINT of vanilla extract 😉 Thanks for the video,
Vanilla is a great idea!! I hope that you enjoyed the glaze! Thanks for watching!
@@AmyLearnsToCook IT'S ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS 😋
Do more Kenwood stand mixers plz😎🤪
New subscriber here thank your for this im 14 and I wanted to learn how to do these easy :D
Can you use this to go between a layered cake
Do I need to use sugar in order to make it gel?
Do you keep the seeds from the lemon in their too?😆 I saw that
How long does this last in the fridge??
How long can I store this before I use it
What can I use instead of cornstarch
The lemon was over powering. I had to add more sugar, but you could still taste the tart. It was good, but wasn't the type of glaze i was hoping for. The corn starch was helpful though. Thanks
Can I substitute the corn starch with flour?
what else can I use if I don't have a blender? please answer.
Something to mash it or take out the bits of strawberries
@@dxdyis okay but can I blend all the strawberries, heat it then use sieve to make it liquid?
Bro I’m sorry I just saw your reply, but u can take the strawberries after the glaze is finished and then blend and put it back, again sorry for the late response
Chew them up and spit them into the pan. Try not to swallow any of the juices, those are important
@@aaronmenchinger are you stupid?
Can I blend the strawberries in a blender 1st then continue with the recipe?
👍
Can you use a regular blender?
Jamaya Rocheal you should be able to. I think she used this one because it’s more convenient for the saucepan. After all, they both do the same thing
i don’t have the blend tool thingy, so instead i’m gonna let it cool a tiny bit and put it in my blender :)
I AM GOING TO MAKE IT FOR MY BROTHER
THAT IF FINE BY ME
Well is work for in between 2 sponges cakes
Can you use Stevia in this recipe?
Is there anything else I can use instead of cornstarch
arrowroot? Instant Gel is a modified cornstarch made for cold mixtures, so that wouldn't apply. I'd try arrowroot if you don't like cornstarch. Or you could use tapioca?
Xantham gum. Must disolve in a little bit of oil first
Can i puree the strawberries first
Can I substitute blueberry for strawberry and get a blueberry glaze?
do the strawberries need to be frozen? or can i used refrigerated strawberries?
It shouldn't matter.
nice video it would have been nice if you had the recipe in the top or at the pinned comment
How much sugar.??
how much lemon juice did she add ???
Do I have to defrost my strawberries first
Yes! Looks like pizza sauce😊
AMAZING THANKS YOU GOODNESS 🌟🌟,🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓🍓❤️🖤💚🤎 FAMILY DAPHNE COTTON ALWAYS 💜 AWESOME BEAUTIFUL ✨ CHEESE CAKE 🍓,
Why sugar?
I made this w whole frozen strawberries and it ended up just being a jam not a drizzle. I suggest to not use cornstarch
Was looking for a recipe that didn't use gelatin.
You shouldn't put the spoon in your mouth then put back it the pot that's a no no
I scraped out the empty pan and tasted it from there...not the finished batch. But even if it was, I am the one eating it so it doesn't matter. The recipe is amazing
Great video but if you're going to feed that to anyone else, dont taste from the spoon and put it back into the pot. That's a very bad habit to pick up and you'll do it, even when you dont mean to.
I am only feeding my husband and he doesn't care. Thanks for watching.
@@AmyLearnsToCook
Lol, I figured, it wasn't for you as much as all the people watching who dont know by better.
No offense intended!
And I like your stuff... Thanks...
No on the cornstarch- L recipe
The cornstarch is for thickening. Thanks for watching!
That is so much sugar 🥴
Although I loved this recipe, I absolutely hated that she tasted the finshed sauce, by putting the scraper in her mouth... AND THEN RETURNED IT TO THE BOWL!!! If I had done this at my job, I would have been fired on the spot!!!
+Jay Cross I returned it to the empty pan. Even if I put it into the bowl, this is my own food. It is different than feeding it to others or the public. You generally don't get fired for eating out of your own bowl at your own house.
Shes at home
Not to mention the sound created😷 did she have the microphone in he mount too?
