That green light kills it for me. Immediate no buy. But I like the system itself! Sad it can't play N64 at full speed. I think the old RP3 from around 2~ years ago can play N64 easily. Great review as always.
it can be turned off in the device settings... once done it pops on only when booting and then turns off
Once you turn it off it still comes on when your charging red to green when fully charged.
The n64 always seems to be difficult to emulate well I’ve found but Mario 64 and the banjo games work well for some reason

@Wicked Wat denkt u? RGB10Max3 JelOS (RockChip 3566) of de TrimUI Smart Pro v1.0.4 Tomato met Vulkan support (AllWinner A133)? Ik zit te twijfelen tussen één van deze twee horizontale handhelds.
De RGB10M3 heeft goede thirdparty CFW support, de TrimUI SP alleen MiniUI maar meer CFW zit er aan te komen (note: dat Tomato geen echte CFW-OS is maar meer een overlay/aangepaste stock-os). Beide ondersteunen overigens Moonlight (PC streaming) en Portmaster (Apps & ports). De TrimUI heeft met 1.0.4 aardige PSP support op 2x render en speelt games al God of War aardig goed.
Ik weet ook de terkort komingen van de (met name) psvita sticks van de TrimUI en zijnde R2/L2.
Al met al met deze wetenschap kan ik nog niet kiezen tussen deze twee. Het wordt mijn eerst Emu Handheld en ik sta niet te springen om na een tijdje een andere te gaan halen, of andere modellen uit te proberen. Ik weet dat performance ongeveer gelijk is aan elkaar (ondanks de krachtigere RK3566 van de PowKiddy). Mijn prio is 16-bit en geen N64/PSP compatability o.i.d
Graag uw reactie met wat u denkt de beste optie zal zijn. Ik neig zelf heel erg naar de TrimUI Smart Pro. Beide zijn te bestellen voor 72 Euro (+64GB card) incl. shipping via AliExpress.
ps. Ik ben ook op de hoogte van de Anbernic 35XX H, maar daar heb ik geen interesse in.

Definitely I might get one as I have always preferred devices with a horizontal layout I have a vertical screen pow kiddy which I find really uncomfortable to hold for long periods because of the small size in your hands this reminds me more of a psp which I’ve always found comfortable

Tempted to get one of these myself, I have the powkiddy rgb 10 original but it’s a vertical screen device but I find it really uncomfortable to hold I have always preferred the landscape style like this one has always found it more comfortable to hold and reminds more of the psp which I love

Trimui formfactor I think that is more comfy.
JelOS is now ROCKNIX, sonst ändert sich nix. The latest version is already a month old now, but we should get an update, soon.

Bought 2 of these after this video, but other reviews also love it (as do I) however a big, in some cases massive issue is charging, the (both) are a pig to charge, 12 chargers in my house rangeing from cheap 5v to multi volt chargers will not work, one charges to 25% then says its 100% till you unplug charger, other just don't charge it.

1. Odin 2
2. Retroid Pocket 4 plus
3 Anbernic RG556
The Steamdeck is a brillant option, too, but not very portable IMO.

I got one, Mr. Wicked and i must say N64 runs not perfect, some N64 games are playable, but a lot have some framerate issues, one of my favorite games, perfect dark runs pretty awful...

I have one of these, and I can't for the life of me get any of my xbox controllers to connect through Bluetooth, but maybe a different controller would work.

It's not worse... has a smaller screen, but far better controls. The 55 is noisy as hell. Can be used as a rattle.
