Schnauzers for sure. The 'can I have one?' approach I've gotten at the flea market, and have heard stories. I suppose it doesn't hurt to ask but some people are ridiculous. (mind you, for a friend as a collector, sure, but strangers?) We've got a regular at the market who doesn't come around to my shop anymore since I'm on to her, but she bought a bar stool missing a couple rubber feet, and goes up to my friend who just bought a perfectly good one, and asked if she'd trade! Yeh, right, lady-- like I'm going to screw myself so you get a deal? Plus another dealer who uses antiques for 'crafts', and wants everything for $3 or $5. Oh the horror stories. Looks lovely up there. Snowed in Jersey yesterday and nice and sunny so I'm going on some junk store hunting! Thanks for the inspiration!

I love the old wood crates. No snow here but it is crispy cold out this morning. I have never had someone ask me for any of my items, at least they asked. I have however had people purposely steal things I had collected to buy just because they saw what I had. Sometimes you have too much stuff to just carry as your digging. I have had stuff go missing when putting a box up by where you pay so I now set it down close by and still have had stuff taken because its hard to focus on digging with one eye doing that and the other eye on your stuff. I have tried telling anyone coming near my stuff that's my box and yet still they manage to get stuff out of my box. This is Jersey though you need to put a leash and an alarm on your stuff...lol Sorry I missed your live show!
Yeah, you really need to keep that box close or it can get taken. One thing to try is to put some strips of tape on different sides of the box and write "SOLD!" and your name on it. That usually keeps people away. Another thing to do is have someone at checkout hold the items for you. I did that for this video. Thanks for watching, Jersey!

There is a small chance the lamp has Odin and his two brothers Vili and Ve. Maybe? 😃 It just reminds me of depictions of Odin the many faced God.

Nope. No tax at thrift stores and other places too. Get it on file with your local thrifts and you’ll be good to go
