I tried the Pace but ultimately had to send it back. It has GPS + Music, sure - but what good is that if the entire battery is exhausted in a single 4-5 mile run? Either of these are mediocre "smart watch" options, but for the price a watch I only have to charge once a month with notifications is a much better value.

What the difference between bip and bip lite? I've only seen an amazfit bip lite for sale but no one says bip lite in reviews. 😔😒
I don't think there is a diffrence
I have a bip lite. It doesnt have inbuilt gps and rely on gps of your phone, and some other sensor. Has a slightly larger battery.

I'm not sure but logically, No. You can be connected with one device at a time, either phone or the ear/headphones.

It looks like the pace plays music but not bip. Has anyone found a product that is small, gives time, weather, altitude, GPS and ability to play mp3s. I'm looking for something that I can take on multi day hikes. That doesn't require frequent charging and isn't too large.

I just received the Pace watch for Christmas. Overall I was really happy the first couple of days.
However, I started to notice major issues.
Every time I open Amazfit watch app I'm aggressively prompted to grant Contacts permissions. I also disabled Phone permissions. I DO NOT USE CALL NOTIFICATIONS. however the Pace Watch is prompting me that I receive calls, each and every time. The app somehow overrides the granted permissions. THIS IS A MAJOR vulnerability in ANDROID Security and a shady approach for Xiaomi/Amazfit.
I can only stop receiving call notifications when in Airplane mode on the Pace.
Do you have similar issues? Is there a fix?
Not to mention the terrible support for 3ed party services such as Google Fit. Still, I got 2 updates since I bought it. Looking foreword for a more transparent approach and further integration with other services for the EU market. This is not China.

Can not since bip size 20mm and pace size 22m, but you can find alot more option at aliexpress

He states the Bip does up to 90% of what the pace does but then explains the Bip doesn't have GPS, memory for music and several other useful features. Make your mind up.
Bip has a built in GPS, you can go for a fun or walk without your phone. But it can't store music.

Have you had any issues with the bip disconnecting from your phone even in close range or your phone?
It only disconnects when you're too far away from your phone. The good thing is once you get near your phone it automatically connects :)

After four months my Amazfit Pace has a battery life of 28 hours. It was, from the start impossible to connect to WIFI. Xiaomi says the gurantee is only three months, and insist of seing a video on CZcams before they will "discuss the matter with a technician ! Jerks.
Music on the pace makes all the difference don't want to take my phone bouncing around in my pocket when I'm running outdoors
