My Sketchbook- Baseball caveman?

Of course, I have to explain that this photo is not a Baseball player!, but a photo of a Darvish with his cane.
"Darvish" is someone who has taken a vow of poverty and austerity on the path of Sufi asceticism. In this respect, dervishes are more like the anonymous monks in Christianity or Hinduism/Buddhism. Darvishes dance, sing and have their own mystical sounds. This picture is from Iran the early 20th century
