- This tutorial shows you how to use KEM's AT-710 titrator to determine a sample's Acid Number (AN). Acid Number (AN) is a standard measure of acidity in crude oils and oil products,
serving as a crucial indicator of quality and safety of use.
Acid Number is determined by the amount of potassium hydroxide
required to neutralize acids present in one gram of oil. KEM’s AT-710 Potentiometric Titrator is perfect for measuring Acid Number and in this video, we will use it to do so in accordance with ASTM D664 Method A.

@@kyotoelectronics3672 thank you so much
excuse me, I have those instruments in the laboratory. but I want the data to go directly to the computer. Can I use the software to enter the computer without using a dot printer?

Hello. Thank you for purchasing our products. Yes, you can export data directly to PC using the optional software called "SOFT-CAP" ( www.kem.kyoto/en/products/asoftware/softcap/ ). Please follow the instructions in the Data Capture Software SOFT-CAP Operation Manual that comes with the SOFT-CAP product. If you have further questions, feel free to send a detailed inquiry to our website's contact page ( www.kem.kyoto/en/contact/ ) and/or the distributor you purchased from. Hope that helps!
