Hello everyone,
This video was supposed to be a half-year review, but it kind of turned into a rant. Iâve been very hesitant to share this information, just because of the fact that there is a lot of positivity surrounding apprenticeships. That is, of course not to negate the fact that apprenticeships are positive, because they Are in my opinion. However, I do think to some extent it has been slightly over romanticised and perhaps looked out with a rose tinted glasses.
The purpose of the video is not to bash apprenticeships at all, especially considering Iâm really enjoying mines. I think Iâm just trying to put some information out there to help people who arenât apprentices to better understand what itâs like to do a degree apprenticeship specifically.
I hope this information is helpful and if youâre thinking about doing an apprenticeship, Iâve put a star âïž next to the chapters that are the most important if you donât want to watch the whole video. And Iâve put a heart for the chapters that may be interesting for current apprentices /degree apprentices â€ïž
Even I had to watch it in speed X 2 đ
Thereâs no fancy transitions, no background music, just my thoughts.

Great video! I appreciate how youâre being very transparent and emphasising that itâs not all rainbows and parties. It must be extremely difficult to juggle everything whilst still giving 100% to all commitments. Iâve been trying to get into a legal apprenticeship for some time now but my lack of A Levels/Level 3 qualification has been holding me back. Hopefully will start one next September after Iâve completed an access level 3 criminology course. But Iâm not gonna lie, youâre scaring me with the truth of it all loool. This is why I plan to do a Paralegal apprenticeship first and move on from there just because a 6 year commitment to a company is a very big thing. I want to make sure I am enjoying the work and company before I commit for such a massive chunk of my life.
Thank you so much for being so honest! loved the whole video and learned a lot! we need you. keep going dearđ„°đ„°
