Hey Anton, I'm trying to walkthrough your video here and in the SEQ edit, I don't see a Rate in the SEQ Edit in order to change. I checked the manual too and I only see 6 lights lit up for SEQ Edit, but in your demo, you have 7. How do you have extra features in the SEQ edit?

@@AntonAnru You were spot on. I had updated my Korg drivers on Windows, but never updated the firmware on Korg. I can the rate now. Thanks!
Very cool video thanks for sharing! One thing I noticed was to get accurate modulation on the motion you are making the step resolution of the sequencer to be slower than 1/16. Another way you can do it accurately is to simply hold the button on the step you want to change and then move the knob. For example if you want your Amp Attack to be higher on steps 2 and 5, you can press and hold step 2 + 5 and then move the Attack knob and it will set the value exactly without having to perform it by using "Rec" at a slower speed :)

Thank you Anton. Between looking at your Motion Arp presets, and watching this video I finally understand how to make motion sequences. This makes the Minilogue XD so much more valuable. This is the reason I chose it over the Prologue.

You can hold the step and do motion recording that could help dial it in to what you want.

I wish you could create a sequence and then transpose that sequence by hitting a new starting note on the keyboard.
If that was the case, you could essentially build custom arpeggios or riffs.

Have you noticed the BPM Delay issue yet? You get slight pitch modulations when synced up to a sequencer or another synth. very slight fluctuations in time cause the BPM delay to modulate its pitch due to ever so slight rate changes. It's barely noticeable but it's there. I've tested it out on two different Minilogue XDs (module & original).
Thank you. This is not an issue, this is a normal behaviour of most delays when you change delay time, or if it's synced it changes time with bpm.
@@AntonAnru Sorry I wasn’t clear - it happens without changing tempo. Yes, you’re right, you get pitch modulation when changing the rate of a delay. My guess is that the bpm delay is hyper sensitive to the naturally occurring, very very small imperceptible fluctuations in the midi connection. It’s as if the XD delay I’d hyper sensitive. This does not happen with any other synth I sync up with my external sequencer (mc 707). It’s no biggie. I just use the non bpm delays and set the XD to the tempo of the external sequence that I use that particular patch for :)
I don't remember such problems with my unit. I worked a lot with it... Did you contact tech support?
@@AntonAnru Hi Thanks for the reply - Yes, yesterday. I tried it on two different Minilogue XDs so Im pretty sure it's the XD. It's very subtle - you could easily miss it. It's a slight pitch wobble. Could be a midi daisy chain issue. I have one midi out going into a microkorg thru to the XD. But I think I tried it a while back directly into the XD and noticed the same thing. Ill try it again :)
the manual voice mode on the arpeggiator doesn't seem to work properly for me when playing a sequence, sometimes the notes play out of order. do you have any idea why?
Interesting video but I'm not sure if you are using the XD in the most efficient way, there is no explanation of the dept knob with the arp. Are you going to do a video on the sequencer? Many thanks for the video.

Приветствую. Да, для первого синта по-моему очень хорош. Много рулится с передней панели, Синтез не сложный, но при желании можно будет усложнить доп плагинами. Звук красивый и мощный
how do you manage to have the arp playing while sequencer is also playing?
Hey, Do you know if it's possible to save and transfer the arp behaviour mode? I just got a desktop version of the XD and I transfered everything but the arp behaves differently and I can't remember how I did this setup 2 years ago :D *EDIT I found it, the synth was on an old firmware, just posting it if someone experiences the same.
Excelent tricks! I’m trying to do it but i cannot hold the arp while playing the sequence, when i play the sequence que latch of the arp stops and I have to play the keys. How you do it? It is possible? Thanks!
I'm a bit confused. Do you launch arp or seq? They can't be played together

You mean the arp rate? Update your firmware, I think it was added in an update

As far as i know the MicroKorg has something called: STEP ARPEGGIATOR. So, the Minilogue XD does not has this? You can't push the 16 sequencer keys to change the arpeggiator. But you can in sequencer mode.
Am i right???
