Making Horsefair a ‘Street for People'

Horsefair in Pontefract is being transformed into a ‘street for people’ and will reconnect the town centre with Pontefract Castle.
Ideas put forward by residents and businesses have been combined to create the design which includes a street that is greener, safer, less polluted, family friendly, has more space for walking, cycling or just hanging out with friends.
The final design of the £2.5 million project is open for comment until 14 March at:
