I was at this concert. It started at noon and lasted until 6pm. The Dead played three sets, the first was a 'country' set, the second was a 'jazz' set and the last was a 'rock' set. I even saw the legendary Bill Graham there!
I would have to say this is my all time favorite. Outta tune hot June. I dunno, I love it. Jerry on the wawa petal before the jam at the end is beautiful. This is hot, one of a kind for 74.
I was there too. I remember Jerry getting frustrated with the new Wall of Sound. Turns out one of the dozens of tweeters was blown. An absolutely magical afternoon.

"When Phil is on, the band is on." -Garcia.
One of the best ones of that year...74 is incredible. Phil and Jerry esp.
When I want to explain to someone what Phil Lesh is all about, this is what I play for them.
Absolutely.
This Eyes is amazing. I love when they jam this out. Long Eyes are the best. The seventies were the best for Eyes. Thanx for posting this.
Eyes is one of my favorite Dead tunes! Jerry, Pigpen and Brent we miss you!!
Don't forget Keith!!! And I believe that Vince was quite underrated as well. Rest in Peace and God Bless The Grateful Dead!!!
