- Hey Baes! In todays video, I did a dorm tour of my Freshman room in McNeil Hall! I'm now a rising Sophomore and last year when I was looking for videos about how my room would look, I found little to no videos, so I thought I would help the incoming Freshman! This is a traditional double on the second floor of McNeil, if You are put in Blair they will look the same as the buildings are attached together btw!

And as for my videos I use cap cut and sometimes Canva to edit! I gotta look for what font that is and I’ll let you know!

If I didn’t select my roommate, and I’m in a double, would I have my own space? How is the suite-style layout for double rooms?
In the video that’s considered a traditional suite style double as suite is just saying the bathroom isn’t communal. So you will still share a room with a person. If I’m not mistaken I think the only way you would be alone is if you were to get a single or a private
And a single is when you share a living space and 2 bathrooms with 4-5 other ppl and a private is just one room and bathroom and you share with no one.

What was your gpa when applying for honors? Im a senior in high school rn and my gpa went down from a to 3.5 unweighted to 3.3 🙃🙃and now my weighted gpa is 3.5 so Im scared I won't get in the honors program, let alone ncat in general. Im also out of state so I feel like I have a lower chance of getting accepted.
Hey boo! I think I had a 4.1 (weighted) I believe, it’s definitely on the more competitive side of things but they also look at you as a person and not just ur gpa. So they look at what you were involved in such as clubs, volunteer work, just all around extracurricular activities. Also make sure to put your best foot forward on the video interviews and writing portions. With all that said I think you will be fine when applying to the school and honors college make sure to put ur weighted gpa unless stated otherwise ofc!!
