- And its done!! I am so absolutely thrilled to present this map! This is a project that meant a lot to me, so I am very excited that it got done so quickly! Everyone worked so hard on this project and it definitely shows ♡

When i saw the title, i wasn't expecting it to be Home by Cavetown, but when i heard that first chord I freaked out. This is a beautiful project, putting the trans redtail theory into a new, beautiful light.

Usually, that kind of stuff comes from people who are hurting, themselves. I sincerely hope you are okay and that you have someone to support you. Remember that there is nothing wrong with asking for help, and you are human. We all have our ups and downs, and it's not weak to need other people. It's how we naturally are; we need each other. And that's ok. And, if you're lashing out because you are closeted trans yourself (which is very common), I truly hope you eventually learn to have a bit of compassion for yourself and understand who you are.

I'm a trans man who just found this MAP, and it's one of my new favorites. I appreciate Redtail, and this was put together beautifully. Thank you so much.
but Redtail is not trans he is a male and it is proven many many times its fine to Au him as trans but he really isn't

I start crying EVERYTIME. I love this map. I wish I could show this to my parents to show how I feel. You have no idea how oddly fulfilling it is to see Redtail still show emotion and cry after he's transitioned.

After reading comments, i just now realized this is a trans redtail map. No wonder i was confused! I love this map so much, and its amazing to see his feelings portrayed like this! The scene where he took off the flower was absolutely amazing. Love everyone's work in this map!!

This MAP is amazing!! I’ve never seen one portraying a trans cat like this!! As someone who is trans and kins Redtail, I LOVE IT!! It reminds me of my own experiences, especially the end, as I’ve always imagined myself now helping myself as a younger child. THANK YOU!!

one thing: its not a headcanon its been disproven before "trans Redtail" even became a thing he was a male right from the start here is an example of a headcanon: when Firestar needs to pick a deputy Leafpool is given a dream from starclan where brambles are guarding the camp thus Brambleclaw was chosen even though he hadn't had an apprentice so he probably shouldn't have been chosen (this is where the headcanon comes in) but Leafpool actually sees braken guarding the camp she just didn't realize and thought it was mostly bramble. and heres an Au: instead of Squilf telling ashfur that the three weren't her kits she says that Ashfur is the father. see the difference?
and YES Sol makes way more sense to headcanon as trans because its not disproven completely like Redtail has had kits with a female also there are like 30+ tortoiseshell/calico toms in warriors so there are way more to headcanon

AH WHERE CAN I START? FIRST OFF, SUCH A BEAUTIFUL CONCEPT AND MAP. SECOND, THE ANIMATORS PRESENTED THEIR PARTS SO WELL. AND THIRD, WHO KNEW ID ME CRYING OVER SILLY CATS? SUCH AN INCREDIBLE MAP

I love this MAP!! The symbolism with the flower as gender roles is great! I am confused about what the goopy cat represents, depression? Dysphoria?

@@BananaSoup-ju Sorry just wondering which chapter shows Redtail being born male? isn't it possible for Redtail to have had an early transition? the brambles being bracken is just as much a head canon as trans Redtail
@@thelittlepoppy8970 in Bluestars prophecy when it is mentioned that swiftbreeze had the kits redkit spottedkit and willowkit redkit is listed as a tom and in spottedleafs heart at the beginning of the book when the three kits are playing a game redkit is male also redtails debt has him as a him at the start

@@BananaSoup-ju I'm not gonna waste my energy arguing with you. Trans Redtail is a silly little thing that brings me joy and doesn't hurt anyone else. You don't have to get too in-depth about it since you don't know the difference between a headcannon and an AU.

Amazing job guys! I love your maps and I was surprised but also happy to see the end credits and find the animators fursonas holding the pride flags that they (i think) identify as (example: bisexual, lesbian, asexual). I was smiling so much as i saw that. Thanks for this lovely map!

I don't really know anything abt redtail except that he was killed by tigerstar/claw which usually I just think of him as a black cat with a redtail but I love his design in this map, its gorgeous
I always HC him as trans because only female cats can be tortoiseshells and he is depicted as one in the books. Love this map!

Redtail being trans ftm explains why he is a male calico since that is not physically possible, love the au! But I’m sure the real reason for it is just beacuse the Erins didn’t research cat colors and just: let’s make him calico, without knowing, as the erins said themselves “there is no lgtbq+ in the series, because some countries would ban it” but yeah love that headcanon, but that is the real explaination
It is possible actually, it’s just extremely rare, and typically male calicos sterile. Honestly I’m not a fan of the trans Redtail thing and I personally think it’s cooler to think he’s just an extremely rare male calico

You obviously don’t have to like the headcanons, as long you’re not being transphobic or homophibic
