Simple ideas, very neat results. For the second one, a variant could be starting with a longer string and using knots to separate the trees, rather than beads, gluing each layer to the knot below it, and using the beads to decorate the edge of each layer of the tree. I think that would make the layers have a bit more weight, and the ornament a bit more stable. I shall try it and let you know how it works out.

I would glue these three walls without a cone, because it will look better without additional elements inside.
