I've played 76 since the beginning and never really gave up on it. I agree it was horrible in the beginning. But I knew it would grow. Currently on my 5th character that's still not been deleted. If I won't the ps5 id give it to my wife so we can both play.
I have played on and off. Put in 1000+ hours over the years.
Started about a year after launch though.
In it's current state. There's a lot to do, if you're a new player altogether, I am fully jealous of the amount of stuff that awaits.

I've also been a loyal player since beta. It has grown into probably one of the most underrated games to play either solo or with friends. Tons of content to do and you don't have to spend any extra money to play all the content or builds.

Coming from someone who went into 76 pre wastelanders and been with it since, the way the story plays out is actually made this live service title feel awesome, I went in and played thru the main quest pre wastelanders and it felt empty, but in regards to the story, it should of, we were the first people to emerge into the wastes after the nukes dropped. Wastelanders then brought in the life that emerged from the vaults and the people back into Appalachia that survived in whatever manner. This live service game felt real, like a true experience. Yes there was jank (being a Bethesda fan since Morrowind it was expected) and you know what I loved it, with what its supposed to be I think this is a gem among Fallouts and honestly, dare I say, better than 4 ( I will die on that hill ) if you have not delved into they wastes of Appalachia, you need to, give it a go and you will not be disappointed.
I've been playing with my friends recently and I'm having a blast, currently level 108 and rising.

I remember years ago I left the game as it was meh. Did the main questline, finished at 49. Came back after watching the tv show all hyped and must say IM SO SURPRISED. Game is absolutely amazing! Been binging it for past 3 weeks everyday and it doesnt get boring at all!

Completely different game compared to 2018
What's good about it? I heard it was terrible graphics, bugs, content ect. I'm thinking of playing it now.
Everyone forgets that most of the playerbase is on console, and recently on Xbox I’m finding full lobbies at hours 2am-8am so many late night grinders and clearly the servers are not dead at all anymore
Console is better anyways due to the dupes and hacked in items on pc. Hacking on pc still hasn’t been fixed

Im glad i wasnt there for when it first came out. i love fallout 76. Not many games are multiplayer with campaigns, events, and base building all in one world . I love it and the haters are missing out.
It was an interesting time to be invested. Even before npcs were brought to the game there were little quests to involve you in the welcoming of the new residents. The same went for the Brotherhoods arrival.
Was cool to be a part of that.
Nah it was better in groups when it first came out. People weren't chasing dailies but rather they were creating their own events. We had a lot more interesting PVP back then. These days the game is better for solo players.

I am a lifelong fan of Fallout, I never played 76 before because everything I saw of the game just looked bad.
I saw it in a super sale with all included, probably because of the series which I hadn't watch at the time.
I decided to buy it and give it a try and I was pleasantly surprised, the game is extremely good now and I'm not a fan of online games.
It still leaves a lot to be desired in the Fallout feel department, which is a problem since 4, but the game is incredible. It's packed with great content, the community is absolutely golden, the world is a blast (heh, get it?) to explore, the events are fun, and the progression feels meaningful, specially since it feels as if different parts of the game unlock as you progress giving you a different outlook on the game and keeping the adventure interesting.
I'm level 100 now, and I'll probably enjoy the game for a long time. Hopefully they'll keep investing money in it and giving it more content.
With how they want to invest in their live services I think this game will receive updates for a while now
It's great but also we need fallout 5 and a next gent online as long as they keep getting money we will never get updated graphics and qol
I redownloaded the game when it was out on the game pass a few months back, and I love the game. It’s honestly way better than people are willing to admit. And that’s coming from a diehard fallout fan who refunded 76 on launch cause I couldn’t even play it without getting mad
I’m now level 105 and I Jump on there at least 3-5 times a week and do world events and roam around with my friends
I frigging love this game. Started playing 2 years ago and haven't put it down. I play with a group daily. I never get bored of it. I'm lvl 1150. I can't wait for the new update.
Just a note: This can be played solo, meaning you don't have to make friends with people. If you want to go explore on your own, you can. There are some events that will need multiple players there for success, but you don't have to hang with them if you don't want to.

@@sumdumgoyboyyno, most players are nice, either way theres an option in the settings called pacifist mode, meaning you cant be killed by or kill players, so dont worry
@@sumdumgoyboyyalso the PvP has to be initiated by both players attacking if you don't attack back there's nothing they can do
No. If someone shoots you, you have to shoot them back to initiate a duel. You can turn on “pacifist” mode so that you cannot damage players (so you don’t accidentally shoot them in a crowd and start a duel by mistake).
The game and quests are designed to be solo'd. It is evident in the instanced buildings and places..no shared quest credit. In fact, it's a pain in the fuckin ass to do the quests as co-op.
On steam 76 has a review of mostly positive. It’s amazing to see how far 76 has come

Bought it 4 years ago and played for a few hours but didn’t really get into it. Back on since the TV show and it’s basically like a new game. Love it now, excellent work by the Devs to keep at it and turning it into something special.

I’ve revisited 76 so many times and tbh its just not my thing. Still hoping one day we get an Elder Scrolls or Fallout with the option for 2 player co-op that works similar to Baldurs Gate or Wasteland where either person can make choices that affect the story/quests.

I just started 76 3 weeks ago and enjoy it very much
I played 76 when it released for a couple years and quit before wastelanders. I loved the game, just finished all the content really. After the show I decided to come back but start over on pc (they really need account linking or crossplay!) and it feels like a whole new game but with a dash of nostalgia. They have improved beyond what I could have imagined at the time I first played.
I have a character of 327 I play off and on whenever I get bored of playing fable preferably Fable Anniversary and I really enjoyed playing the melee minigun if I ever run out of ammo the fight is not over
I been playing since the dark days it's really good to see 76 getting a second chance
Super happy knowing that they plan to keep updating this game with more content for at least 5 more years. Maybe more since it’s wildly popular now

It's because storage takes bandwidth aka costs them money. If everyone could just loot the whole map and store it than ditch the game forever it's still costing them money to have it be cached. I do agree 1st is cancerous though. Just get it like twice a year and grind mats until you have thousands of everything stored.

I just started at lvl 1 and currently lvl 15. It feels more like a multiplayer co-op Fallout 4 honestly. Im glad I didnt jump in at launch.
it is just a coopy not an MMO which Beth announced. the game is full of bugs. if they fix one they introduce a lot more. one of them is the crazy frame rate drop to 5FP to 10FPS since the Feb something patch
I never tried it until recently. There are so many weird changes to the gameplay that it doesn't feel like I'm playing a fallout game. Just a random open world that has fallout parts
I left after the brotherhood of steel dlc and just came back a month ago and man I’m glad I did come back
I been loving this game, between my solo exploration and team events it’s so cool. Granted I played to level 40 between season 1-2 but I forgot everything. Now I’m trying to get a good solo build with a backup team side when I eventually make good friends, or get my real life friends off of shiddy shooters
I play it on PC almost everyday. I just love it! It became my relaxing moment of the day, after coming back home from work. I'm still level 102, but enjoying every moment at a time.

3000+ hours, latest character is lvl 298 and is a bloodied build.
I've been playing non-stop since like a month after 76 came out, but even with the bugs it was fun to explore. There are some days when I play 76 that I wish that I could play the game again before Wastelanders. That sense of quietness, loneliness, and mystery as to why there were no npcs and only corpses was great.

Just started playing again recently, but whenever I load into a server my wifi cuts out for some reason? Not sure what causes it or maybe my wifi is just sh!t
Lvl 63 and only hop on for the free goodies. I've started many team parties and get no help for the 15-20 minutes I get on to store materials and craft stuff. I guess you can solo everything if you want but it seems much more fun with someone to run around with. I'll keep doing me regardless.

Almost 90 finished all tje main story lines. I like that i can work on dailies or just run event's all session. Hopefully the new dlc has improved building

My problem is that it is a live service game/MMO, we are slowly being ripped away from modding content into half baked cash grab DLCs.
it's a slippery road, multiplayer component is fine but that could have been easily made into a listen Server like feature where players could host and join others from their own machines instead of bloated Services that is totally centralized and dependent on the parent company. I hope this does not succeed for the sake of future of franchise.

I recently started playing really enjoying the game I’m hooked . My only gripe is i get at least a crash a day on ps5 wish they could patch it
I just jumped in 2 weeks age and I'm at 16th level and enjoying it.
Still playing casualy (1-3 time per fortnight). i have two character; a Brother hood of steel just under level 300 and a mutant Enclave just over level 300.
A coupld of my friends still play and a couple have talked about returning, my returning friend are all pre wasterlanders players.
My issue with this game is the disgusting weight limit for players that don’t pay 13 a month to play, 1200ibs for everything is absolutely crazy and the fact that displaying items doesn’t take from any weight
i played all the fallouts beside 1 and 2. after i watched the fallout show im playing fallout 3 now. super fun. i’m probably play fallout 76 next I’m level 158, and missed out on 3 expansion im excited to return to the wasteland

Came back after the show released. was lvl 71 on April 17th and now im lvl 120. The way the game has improved is insane. Lost my old group and none of them play currently searching for a new one
I’m a steam player. Cant wait for the new update, I checked out the new area on the test server just kind of getting a look at stuff didn’t really mess with much after though I wanted to wait until it actually came out
I love 76 played the hell out of it on Xbox switched to pc but my pc wasn't able to play it but recently jumping back it feels like a whole new game

I absolutely love 76. I cant play 4 anymore. Not enough weapon and armor options. The map is bland and enemy variety non existent. I love how items that were abundant and made the game trivial even on very hard are now rare and useful. I love food and drinks being useful. I love caps being harder to get. I only wish 76 had an offline option for when the servers are shut down for the last time because i can see me coming back to play it again in 20 years.
The game itself is one of the vault-tec experiments. They want to see how much crap you'll take and still come back and play the game

My girl and I play 76 everyday together. I love it now. They redeemed themselves in my eyes.

I've played every single fallout games since the first one, however I heard so much negative reviews of fallout 76 that I didn't even bother to play it until I saw the Amazon fallout series and was given a free copy of 76 . I have a lot of gripes about the game like daily Gold bullion, scripts storage and cap vendor limits but all in all it's a good game

Get some unyielding armor, the more intelligence special stat you have the more xp you get

Most things are very viable but the biggest meta build is still a bloodied build
I really hope they upgrade the graphics textures and weight and storage issues. Also a lot of quests are boring fetch quests as well as some areas only having scorched enemies which gets really boring after awhile. if they fix these issues the game will almost be perfect imo.
Hopefully they add the ghoul revolver! I am new to the 76 community, but my overall experience is nice 😊 players on the servers are generally chill and helpful.
Anyone else wish for this game to be offline as well? The building mechanics in the game would be so much better if it was just you in your own private offline server building wherever you want, not having to worry about other players.

Anyone else have constant crashes on PS4/5? I’ve played for a couple years on several consoles and it crashes every hour.
I'm lvl 750, played from day one didn't like the game in the begining. But when the npc came in the game i loved it! (and stil love the game now). Have 1640 hours. and counting . It's funny to see new players complaining about the 1200 storage space. While we (old players) had 400 and no red donation boxes.
Goddamn wasteland, where everyone in it while we were the vault safely sleeping away and living our life everyone in West Virginia was either over a radiated and turned into ghouls, turning into super mutants by experiments before we went into the wall and or contracted display and turned into statues all over the place, so yes, it was a wasteland with nothing left front robot and it should’ve stayed that way
I play everyday even if 15 min, level 86 and growing. Started playing in Jan 24’. Love the game and it seems to getting better and better! Looking forward to the next update in June…
